265km/h on my GT-Four ST205.... yes, Autobahn, although I've hit 250 in the Italian autostrada too. I've driven few Lambos at 130km/h... but on twisty roads with 50km/h speed limit, I think that's more exciting.

Not speaking italian, but from what I understand + some dirty google translate seems to answer "no" to the rumour Wink
But, in the end ... who knows what will happen in the future Big grin

You are right, I speak Italian and it says so, just a no sense rumor that no one even knows where it started from.

Quote from Racer Y :...fears of Russian Expansionism...

Do they really tell you that on American TV? Because I've never heard of it lol

Anyway, it's called "lifestyle difference". We don't need to move stuff that oftenly, hence we don't need trucks, otherwise we would, it is really simple. Shrug

Is there a way of lowering the volume of rival cars? I can't hear my own car while racing, their volume is way too high

I have tried the NSX-R at Bathurst and it is pure cargasm. It feels so much more realistic than in GT6, where ii is extremelly snappy and tail happy. I have not driven one for real but it is definitely a lot more convincing, and it sounds like the real thing.

That Lancia has a really good model and it is probably very accurate in its physics, but I couldn't find it interesting to drive...at all

Then you will be fully served. I strongly recommend you to eat here

It's right next to the Lamborghini factory, proper Italian food from the region, not just pizza and pasta Wink

I lived in Torino for almost 7 years and I used to work for Lamborghini, so that area is quite familiar to me. Do not worry about narrow and bumpy roads, those are usually in the city centres where normal cars are not allowed to drive. Don't do it or you'll get plenty of tickets when you get back home. I can't really tell about accomodation but it is very easy to find where to stay. Regarding the itinerary, you should also check the Ferrari, Pagani and Ducati museum/factory. There are pretty nice roads to drive around Maranello, awesome driving combined with great views of the countryside and some Italian restaurants along the way. People over there is very nice and friendly but don't expect to find too many bars or pubs full of youngsters, because very few live there. Bologna is your best bet if you wanna do that, but not where the super car factories are. Not many people speak good English in Italy but they will do their best to help. There are some super car rental places in Maranello and Sant'Agata and the guys are usually quite friendly. If within the first minutes you show them that you can actually drive, they will let you floor it with no hesitation.

If the trip is not exclusively petrolhead related, Firenze, Torino, Sienna, Pisa, Como and Venezia are nice cities to visit. Roma would be great as well, if you wanna go that far. Milano is in my opinion the shittiest city in the entire country but if it's on your way it's worth a short visit.

Keep and eye while driving in Italy. It is absolutely fine when you get used to it, but for Italian drivers traffic rules are just suggestions and they barely respect them. This is more evident to southern you go. Watch out for speedcameras also. Especially the Autostrada towards Bologna it's full of "Tutor" which are the speed cameras that calculate the average speed between two points. If you go further south there are thousands of standard speed cameras although most of them are advertised.

Quote from Boris Lozac :That's a pretty light list.

I would like to add:

Oreca FLM09
Peugeot 504
Koenigsegg One
Porsche 550

(sorry no links)

The 504 is top notch also, but is soooooo slow that I just don't see myself driving it at any time. But yes, quality wise is pure official quality.

These are the only mods so far that have passed my own quality tests:

BMW M1 E26
Porsche 911 2.7RS
Caterham Academy
Ferrari 288GTO
Opel Calibra DTM
Vauxhall Cavalier BTCC
Chevrolet Chevelle SS
Mazda 787B
Nissan 180SX

They all work with the current AC version. I have tried many many more but their 3D model or physics (or both) were not good enough for my standards.

Credits to the modders.

By the trailer my first impression is that the only good thing about it is the content, but graphics or physics didn't amaze me at all. Gotta read some reviews or try the demo to confirm that.
