Yeah so I have got some free time now, though I have to train for the next racing season and a lot of school stuff. Also the last few years have been hectic so no time for LFS and other games. This year I raced in Formula Ford, finishing second and being the best rookie (10 poles, 5 wins) and in 2012 I raced KF3 and CIK-FIA Academy Trophy winning the championship in the latter, so I can be pretty quick with a little time. Nice to be back

Hello everyone,

I have been away ages and now I wanted to share a few clips of mine. This year I moved to Formula Ford, driving a Mygale Duratec and I have now taken part in 2 race weekends. I've achieved 3 pole positions, 1 win and 2 second places. So, hear are a few clips from pre-season testing and some from the first two weekends (Motopark and Ahvenisto).

Enjoy (though really short clips)!

I spun, I was on the middle of the track. There came guys from both sides so I couldn't escape. And then, one came off the train, and yehh.... guess the rest + the marshalls didn't show the yellow flag so no one slowed down.

So to the next, mint racing

Hi!

This weekend, 23.7.11-25.7.11 will be raced the CIK-FIA European Championships of KF2 & KF3. Also, the second round of the CIK-FIA World Championship will be raced during this weekend.

The events take place at Circuito Internacional de Zuera, located close to the city of Zaragoza. Last year, the World Championship was battled at the same track. The track is 1,700m long and really fast with long straights and fast corners.

The favorites for KF3 are the winners of the two Regional Qualifiers, Dennis Olsen (NOR) Energy-TM, and Alex Palou (S) FA-Vortex. These two dominated their qualifiers but, you can't forget Max Verstappen (NL) CRG-IAME, who last year finished 5th in the European Championship. Also, many there are many challengers, Harrison Scott (GB) Intrepid-TM, Lasse Sorensen (DK) Birel-BMB, Esteban Ocon (FRA) FA-Vortex, Lance Stroll (CAN) Zanardi-IAME, Pedro Hiltbrand (S) Kosmic-Vortex and many more.

In KF2, the most favorites are Nicolaj Moller-Madsen (DK) FA-Vortex, the reigning champion, who recently moved from Energy to Sean GP. Also, the winner of the Southern Qualifier, Enzo Guibbert (FRA) FA-Vortex is among the favorites. There are many challengers like Federico Savona (ITA) Top-Kart-IAME, Pascal Belmaaziz (FRA) DR-Parilla, Max Klinkby-Silver (DK) Birel-BMB, Teemu Petjoi (FIN) Birel-BMB, and Egor Orudshev (RUS) Tony Kart-Vortex, who recently won the third round of the WSK Euro Series.

In KF1, there is only one favorite, Nyck de Vries (NL) Zanardi-IAME. The small 16-year old driver from Holland dominated the first round in Wackersdorf, winning all of the four finals.

The practices are on already, you can see live timing from http://www.cikfia.com/champion ... -calendar/zuera/live.html

The official qualifying sessions for KF3 and KF2 are driven later this evening starting at 15.30 GMT onwards.

Hi!
I've been away for long. Now I'm getting motivation to start LFS again. I've raced in a few teams before, driving a few GTAL and LFSCART Light races.
In real life, I drive karting, what takes most of my time, especially when I start racing KF3 this year. I race with a Finn Made chassis, NINAR, what has put up a factory team for this year. I'm taking part in European Championship Qual., Viking Trophy and World Cup. Also, I race the Finnish Championship.

Thanks,
Joonas

So, as I haven't written here for a while (long), I'll just tell the total of this season.

Raket Cup

This series is the biggest 11-12 year old series in Finland, approx. 70 drivers per race. The Cup consist of 6 pre-races, where you can gather maximum of 90 points (three best points count, gotten from pole 10p, 2nd place 9p, 3rd place 7 etc. After heats pole 10p, 2nd place 9p etc. and final winner 10p etc, maximum of 30 per races.)
After the 6 pre-races (where I only races 3 of them), I was on the 6th place in the series. In the season final, you could gather in one race a total of 90 points (30p for pole, 29p for 2nd, 28p for 3rd, 27p for 4th in each start (quali, heats, final)

Oualifying

Fastest in own group, 2nd in total nothing else.

Heats

First heat, I won from 2nd place, in the second one I finished 3rd and the last one I finished at 6th place, what meant 4th place for the first final.

Final 1

Got to 2nd place from the beginning, on lap 20 got up to first, kept it for a while until the track started to dry (it rained in the start) then the guy on 2nd place hit me, I go wide and a whole pack pass me, 4 cars and I dropped to 6th place.

Final 2

This was the unlucky part of the race. My start failed, dropped like 12 places to 18th and then my tire started to empty down. I finished the race on 18th place and 4th in the series.

I think I did pretty well, others drove all of the races and I only three, so with more training, I could've won the series but 4th is good also for me.
P.S I raced 2x European Champion's and World Vice-Champion's engine in Raket. Who guesses?

Congratulations go to Andrew Carey for taking the win, with a fantastic £108.57 in total prizes. 2nd place was Nick Catsburg (£20.88) and in 3rd, by just 1 point, was Magnus Bjorndal (£77.38). 4th place was taken by the unlucky CQ|Guru (£47.48) and 5th place by CQ|Dzban (£31.08). The rest of the cash prizes can be seen on the table on the left.

Second place got less than 3rd and 4th?
