I've installed AVG free 9.0 yesterday (or the day before, not sure), and I'm experiencing the same problem with another game (Eve online).
I didn't try LFS, but I'm pretty sure I'd get the problem.

I'm also experiencing other problems out of game, like current window losing focus (happened just now with message editor XD)

This morning I've had 2 LFS crash, on STTC 2 Public Silver&Gold : happens hitting Esc key when the host was finishig race/changing track.
Not sure, but I think it was exception 0x05

Played a lot of fun races on this server these last 3 days, and enjoyed again the good old days feeling, on BL1, FE2, FE3 and so on.

ps : S2 tracks are great too
ps2 : forggot BL2 Rev, FE5 & FE6, amazing
ps3 : don't own one , nor Xbox

Not sure : I have a SideWinder FFB USB, Windows XP SP2.
SW drivers V4.0 worked fine with an Athlon XP, but crash with my AMD64 (when opening macro tab). Microsoft considers wheel controlers obsolete (no support since 3 or 4 years at least).
Drivers 4.0 aren't Windows XP compliant (they work, but there's a notice window when installing). So, Vista, I'm not sure.
