Joined LFS Dec 2004 and played it around 10 years. But since there were no development LFS got outadated so i moved to iRacing and now I'm mainly on ACC where there are many great communities hosting great races :-)

So guys ...
Latest news is nearly1 year old ...
Scawen cant run this any more, either he invites some pros to get it up2date or LFS will continuing its slow vanish.

Been on iRacing for 3 months ... LFS is soo out of date now

I would gladly pay for a new version of LFS that's competitive with iRacing, but it wont happen with Scawen in charge

To contribute in advance, sorry to say but no way.
Money in advance wont change the dev's attitude to work for the perfect sim and nothing between it. Develop it step by step is the only way to keep it alive.

QUALIFICATION
============

Garage is CLOSED during Q.
- ALL setup changes, tyrechanges and refueling during qualification MUST be made on the pitsquare in the pitlane. You are NOT allowed to go into the garage and change your setup.

- If your car becomes undrivable you MUST go into spectate mode (shift-S) or into garage (shift-P). Your qualification session is then over, you are NOT allowed to rejoin (shift-J) a qualification session.

Violators that rejoin the Q will have to start the race from the garage on server B (if B are in use)

Qualification is held on servers, A and B.
A-server: Aimed for average and more skilled drivers.
B-server: Aimed for average and less skilled drivers.
B-server: Also aimed for drivers never driven TR before and late arrivals that has to midjoin the Q.

Drivers that fail to follow this conduct of honour and misplace themselves on the wrong Q-server might be taken out of the qualification by TR Admins

General Q behaviour.
- ALL drivers MUST check the "minimap" for upcoming drivers driving there hotlap.
- If you are on outlap/inlap you MUST let drivers on hotlap stay on their racing line and let hotlap driver pass in a safe way.
- Its recommended to let faster drivers pass if you have "lost" your hotlap, otherwise normal racing rules applies if both drivers are on a hotlap.
Qualification protest are treated the same way as race protests.

RACE
=====

NO mandatory pit.
You are free to go to pit of your own choice.
Rejoin race are NOT allowed after reset or spectate (shift-R/shift-S).

Despite TR being a league, you are not required to partake every week. Simply join the races that sound fun to you! Every week a new sticky thread will be created here in TR's forum.

Been having a flue with fever for a week now, so there has been no prep time. Didn't even think I would mange to the race, since the fever went up 1hr before the race start
I had a 24% restricted set from the open cup that was great, but as I found out at my Q-lap this race was with no restriction ... man that was sooo embarrassing for sure ... sorry Corny for that disrespect.

Since I had no time at all to adjust the gearbox and tyre pressures on my 24% set my teammate gave me his set. Very nice done for sure, but we have a rather different driving style on some cars, so I had constant problems with breakings and the extreme camber setting on the left side.

Well it was a fun race anyhow, first time for me driving short track on LFS. Time to download this weeks Nascar races and watch the big guys in action

Easy to say when having the whole history and looking at the replay, but I can assure you I had no way to see that mess from my driving seat before I was in it. I was a pure victim at that time. On the other hand I avoided a lot of other crashes by slowing down in time ... but of courses that's not noticed since nothing happened then ...

And btw. I did not get any laps back, since I didn't find out what button to use to reset my car with, the original LFS mapping is changed in my settings ... never thought I would get to use the reset button ... so I just had to wait for the push car and then limping into pit for repairs.

If I'm to blame on anything, then blame me on my crappy restart at around lap 150, that was really bad from me and I seriously apologize for that, luckily I was the only victim from it.

And Thanx to the admins for all the work just to make it possible for some fun racing events

Unfortunately I was involved in 2 yellow flag incidents, one of them i'm pretty sure it was due to some lag. I'm almost sure I held a close straight line to #45 when we suddenly just crashed into each other
The first one I'm maybe to blaime, I hit the wall just slightly, but my rear went out then a little and hit the car on my left which was rather close then I think ... dammed sorry about it and I think it was just bad luck (or lag) that the car beside me lost traction then.

Generally speaking i had much worse FPS than I have had earlier on this RN/KY-events and I dont think it was my connection, I'm on 100 mbit fiber connection so it should be fairly stable.

He he, bet I will be faster in the black pist in Serre Chevalier than u be in SO City with the UF1 60 mph is np in the black pists for sure ;-)

Typically Mange behaviour to steel my UF1 combo when I'm away for some vacation ... well hopefully u get some order when Mange is back as admin
