I put a lot of work into it and in the future it will be public, but for now it will remain in work for small changes, fixes or improvements.
This model had around 600k trim, but with the help of Epicproes we managed to reduce it to 40k trim, then I mapped the mod and used the interior from a previous project of mine, Bimmy M93, which is currently uploaded by:edvinaxashttps://www.lfs.net/files/vehmods/5B33E3
I worked on the mod for about 4 days, and during them I took some pictures to show you some of the stages I went through.
I started by bringing the mod to an ideal size for this game, using the in-game XRT as a base.
Then I started detailing some elements step by step to bring as much as possible with the real car.
After that I started with texturing the car, and finally with 3 skins, followed by small fixes to be able to be published.
The car has 3 settings:
1. Stock
2. Racing
3. Shows
In the first configuration we have the basic car, everything is stock on it.
In the second configuration we have the stock version of the car with a new set of rims and a skin.
In the third configuration we have a unique car, slightly modified for Car Shows. Another set of new wheels, another Skin and some new elements like a Ducktail.
I want to emphasize that this is NOT the final version, so it will remain a WORK IN PROGRESS!!!
This car develops around 580 hp and 800 nm of torque.
This project was done in 2 days... I took the mod from Sketchfab, reduced it in a 3d modeling application, added the project to Lfs Editor. The reduced mod in the application had around 80k tris, and I reduced the details on Lfs Editor to 65k tris, then I started mapping, texturing the car and its details. I made a new set of rims specific to this model using a Blueprint, repaired the small holes left from the reduction of details, then started working on the handling.
This mod is a work in progress, so there will be more updates.
I would love to see a day-night cycle on this game, it would be super cool to have such a cycle on a circuit, it would be much more realistic because it is a simulator after all
