Junk mail seriously needs to be banned. It's a problem not only to people receiving the mail, but it is seriously a huge problem to the environment. People who work for the government and people who don't seriously need to take some consideration for the environment and start to protect trees. Otherwise, companies need to replant trees once one has been cut down.

TVE, I totally agree with you. I can't even ask people how to fix my ping problem without them saying "search." It totally sucks. So thank you so much for pointing this out TVE!

Quote from wheel4hummer :Yeah, that video did make it seem like the car was built that way by Honda, which it most definitely is not. As for these "tuning" companies, the only modified Civic that I would buy is the Spoon Civic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8b1kh61vpU

No stupid spoiler, no ugly body kit.

And then, there's the Spoon S2000, which would probably be faster then any Civic.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JNnzqwTUMI

EDIT: Actually, there are some pretty fast FWD cars, as shown in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHqRVqPQD-8

But those are all race cars, it's not like they're driven on the roads.

+1 for that. Spoon is probably the only place I'd take a Honda to get tuned for racing. That Spoon S2000 looks absolutely great though!
Quote from Vinnylegends :Man the sound of that Mugen is just amazing!!!
I'd have one just for the sound.

+1 for this, too! I love the sound of a VTEC!

Quote from brandons48 :Which is a damn good thing!

All it needs are slicks, some weight loss, and BANG! Ferrari FXX MkII

That's what I was thinking!

Anyway, this thing looks just looks like a masterpiece. I love it! But I'd prefer it in midnight blue on black.

Quote from Nathan_French_14 :You do get some Vauxhalls over there. The 2007 Vauxhall Astra that was sold here is called the Saturn Astra over there.

If it's anything like the one we get here, then it will be equally terrible. Hard plastics in the interior, etc. etc.

The interior may well be much different though. For example, the MK1 Ford Focus (These ones) were much worse cars over there. In the UK, they come with leather all over the dashboard/plastics and everything is put together much better. In the US, the dashboards are standard hard plastic, and they typically fall apart.

Ah really? I thought they weren't that bad, but they look pretty cool to me. Just one thing... why do most people over here love plastic so much? Especially in interiors... it's a huge mistake. GM should go back to black plastic buttons instead of painted ones, and at least put some leather over the plastic dashboard, pillars and doorpanels. Also, they need to redesign the interior of their new Camaro... really tacky IMO.

Quote from Crashgate3 :Will Saab still be making these?

Yeah their jet program is still going, but sadly only their car business isn't. But since someone said Spyker bought part of it, then maybe Saab has some hope afterall. I just hope it actually does since a Saab lasts basically forever like a Honda, Volvo, and in some cases, BMW.

Quote from amp88 :Download an application like NetLimiter Monitor. Install it on any machines that have access to your network (as long as you get permission to do so...). NetLimiter will let you see exactly what is using your Internet in real time and you can log usage over periods of time too. That may help you in diagnosing the issue.

Ok cool I'll try this. Thanks a bunch!

Quote from Intrepid :the market doesn't fail lol companies do, markets can't. The can be interfered with of course, but not fail

""i just built a car that can only be driven if u had 8 legs. it didn't sell, the market failed

Ah good point. Saab was a pretty good product though.

I would actually love to try out a Vauxhall. But with what bunder says, yeah give GM 10 years and they'll be shutting their doors. Neither Saab or Pontiac actually did fail... the market just did. Like FlyMike said, Ford is really kicking some serious ass! I have actually liked Ford for a long time, and I'm actually impressed at their face lifted Mustang, Fusion, and Edge. I bet Ford will be the last car brand for America in about 15 years, and Ford will still be going strong.

Ok so get this. I removed MP3 rocket, removed LFS X10 and I still have the problem. My dad put this program on my computer called Automotive Expert since he runs an automotive business, but I don't think that's the problem causer. But could that be the problem causer?

Quote from SparkyDave :Some programs like mp3rocket leave processes running even when you close the program, open the task manager (ctrl+ alt+del) and click on the processes tab then look at the list or take a ss and post it here, we might get an idea from the processes and amount of them whats going on.

good luck

SD.

Hey thanks for helping me! Anyway MP3 rocket is shut down all of the time, but it comes on when I get MP3 Rocket going. One thing I have found out though was if I ran MP3 rocket, then closed the whole thing down (even in the processes), LFS runs just fine. It works like 75% of the time, but is there any other way to fix this issue?

Quote from amp88 :Short memory span?

Ok first off, don't flame me like that. I forgot to mention that.
Quote from SparkyDave :Ahhh I see ty Amp, you really should stick to one thread GripDriver

you mention in the other thread, that you, your family and next door share one internet connection, could it be possible that your neighbors are using alot of bandwith?

You could/should ask next door what programs they are using and when (some people leave p2p (pier to pier) programs on 24/7 and p2p really hogs bandwith and most ISP will detect p2p and throttle your line.
P2P are the programs used to download music and films and files from others.

Do some investigating yourself, go to your router and disconnect everyone except the wire to your PC reboot it (router and PC), then test LFS with only your PC on the network.

Check your processes, run AV scans and spyware scans, make sure all your drivers are up to date ect ect.

good luck

SD.

Ok, my ping problem happens all the time. Whenever I connect somewhere, I only get like 10 minutes at the max of play before the lag comes in. Also, I run DSL with my entire family, and I have no idea if my neighbors use a lot of bandwidth. I also use something called MP3 Rocket, but it is always shut down and never actually connects to the internet without me making it connect. Otherwise, I'll try the disconnecting all the internet connections but mine, but that will have to happen when my parents are not home since they need the internet constantly. Does AVG scan for spyware and other crap, too? Oddly this only does happen for LFS; I also play Halo, and this never happens on Halo. Coincidence?

Quote from SparkyDave :Do you mean LFS version X10 ?
Is you wired network connecting to the internet through a router with a built in firewall?
Anyone on your network using P2P programs?

SD.

Well, I now use Z28, but otherwise I am firewalled. It's just weird how I start out having a great connection, then it just fails. Also, I am not positive if anyone in my house uses person-to-person programs.

Quote from Jakg :How does x10 mean a host can see if your connection "is too high"?

The bars going up mean you have connectivity issues. That in no ways means "too powerful".

You dont understand whats going on, neither does the host.

On the X10 host, IDK how she got to see our ping. Also, I guess she has no idea what she is talking about, and I just assumed that is what it meant. So, I guess it's just my internet connection problem since my parents have a better internet connection.

Quote from Jakg :What do you mean by "too powerful"?

Like, those bars on the bottom left of the screen will just randomly skyrocket! Also, since I also use X10, a host checked my IP connection strength and said that is was too high.

Well, can I please get some help? I should ask if someone can help me make my interent connection in LFS less powerful since it's way too overbearing.
