Your mod is really awesome. The car feels like a real Porsche 911 from the 70's.I have never driven a real one, but I have driven it in other sims like AMS2 or RF2. I would like to ask for something. I know that is normal in this kind of cars, but would be possible to include a gear indicator to avoid to use the game hud? I really think the LFS developers should include an option to only show the gear in the HUD, but as long as this doesn't happen....
EDIT: I found that the car leaves smoke from wheels all the time, even on the straights. Is normal?
I fully agree that one should not raise expectations beyond reality, but a little feedback from the development team on a regular basis is not a bad thing. A report every month or two would be perfect, but I think the minimum would be every quarter.
But it is also true that this is not a normal development, and those of us who play this game are not like most people.
Hello, I'm a beginner with this game and I would like to know if is possible to create races with different car models (I would like to create a race with FXR, XRR and FZR). When I add an AI, the car is the same like me, but if I press garage, I don't modify the AI car, but I modify my car.
Thanks for the tip. In my opinion things would be much more easy, selecting the IA and then clicking on garage and select the skin, without renaming. It could be also automatic, when you add an AI, it choose a ramdom paint.
Linux Community is "small", but dedicated, collaborative and grateful community.
About Vulkan, use this API make more easy to port the game to another OSs. I don't have any idea about game programming, so I'm not going to contradict the devs, but I know that in recent times Vulkan has come a long way from the first version.
I hope at least devs are trying to execute their game on Linux with DXVK to see if it is compatible.
I read in another post that Linux users don't be real simracers.... Here is a guy that plays rf1, rf2, automobilista, Pcars1, Pcars2, Race07, GTR2, AC, ACC in Linux, and of course LFS. .... and I am not the only one, as I have a group of Linux Spanish friends who are very interested in simracing like me.
In the last times support for Logitech Wheels in Linux grows a lot with a new driver ( new-lg4ff ) and two configuration utilities like Oversteer and PyLinuxWheel.
