Thanks for the reply and I understand what you are saying. When this problem happens, I just need to tap the clutch a little bit. I'm not even depressing the clutch and it will go into gear. I agree that when it happens initially, maybe I didn't depress the clutch all the way but if that is the case, why would just a light tap on the clutch was all it takes to get it in gear again? Do we have to depress the clutch all the way for the clutch to disengage? Is there anyway to adjust the clutch pick up point like in a real car?

Also, I shift the same way in GTR2 and I never had this issue. Maybe only LFS have this feature where it senses how much you are depressing the clutch pedal before it will disengage? If that is the case, like you said, maybe it'll be a good idea to have some gear crunching sound to let you know this .

I did a search but couldn't find anything on this issue.

Sometimes when I upshift, it will show netural instead of the correct gear. When that happens, I usually just have to depress the clutch slightly and let off and it will show the correct gear without having to do anything with the shifter. Most of the time I have no issues and this occurs only about 3% of the time but it is still very annoying since I'm losing a lot of time when racing online when it happens. I also play with GTR2 and it never happens when I play with that. Only LFS.

If I create a new profile, I will have to set everything up again and use a different name. Under "Other Diver", I see my old username but when I click on it, it says cannot load file. Is this how you normally choose a different profile? If so, why is it not working now after patch Z? Don't know why its not using my existing profile to begin with . Someone help!

A few days ago I installed patch Z and everything seems to be fine. Played for a little while. Today when I go in the game, its not using my profile? When I go to Options-->Driver, It shows "driver name" to be "unnamed" and under "other driver" it has my name. When I click on my name under "other driver", it says can't load file. I assume its not using my profile and I'm not able to load it? Also when I first open the game, it says I'm a demo driver. I had to do a unlock for it to show my S2 status. Please help! Thanks.

Thanks for the help and quick response. You guys are great . Can't wait to race online with S2 since I'm getting a little tired of some immature people on the demo which goes online just to crash into people for fun .

Hi everybody. I've been playing the LFS demo for over a week and loved it. Last night I finally decided to get the S2 license. I feel the physics in LFS is better than GTR2. Anyway I have a simple question for all of you. How do you show the hands on the steering wheel while driving in the cockpit view? Also, I've noticed that there are much fewer online hosts for S2 than the demo. Is that true or I'm doing something wrong? Thanks.
