Thanks for the quick reply. That's fixed it! I changed EnableStats to 4, imported without problem, then changed EnableStats back to 5, to prevent it accidentaly being done again. I like the way you guard against it happening accidently, so you don't necessarily have to change anything, maybe just put it in the manual? Thanks again, Albevo

Thanks for the fantastic program!

I Was hoping you could help with small issue. I'm having trouble importing Lapper's PB.txt file into Airio. Typing the command !imp and !exp just logs the command in the log file, but nothing further. The automated export WILL work (ExportLapperData=true). I've also tried to import the airio created pb.txt (by automated export), but this didn't work.

Other admin commands all work, like !state, !reload, !players, !recent, !aini etc. I've tried changing "ClearLapperData= " to both true and false. I've issued the command from the console and from an admin user. I've tried setting up a new server on a new machine and it didn't work there either.

Attached is the log from a clean install. I'd appreciate any ideas.

Albevo.
Thanks

Thanks for those reminders luke
With regard to the slight differences between cars within a class, There may be times when one car is the clear choice to use on a certain track. However I hope that most of the time the "best" car will differ from person to person. For example, the FZR is normally quicker than the FXR, but the FXR is alot easier to drive. So if you were prone to making mistakes in the FZR, it would mean the FXR would be better for you.
Also, the TBO class has a front wheel drive, and rear wheel drive, and an all wheel drive. Each car requires a different driving style, and each style will suite different people.
Lastly, I think people will appreciate having the a choice of which car to drive.

Details on the classes of cars can be found here http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Cars

Attached is the results of the RB4 races from last wednesday night. I've used the points system of 10, 7, 5, 3, 2,1 which a few of us agreed on, 1 point for fastest lap. With the FOX race, it was hard to find a meaningful result due to black outs/baby feedings/connection problems etc. I've attached two results, one for every race, another which only counted races which had at least 5 finishers. Post your accusations of bias below...

Hi Victor,

Can I please have a sub-section for "FCCR". We are a close group of long time friends so our numbers are solid and stable. We have been racing for about 3 months, every wednesday night without fail. We don't have a website because we are in constant contact with each other. The section will enable us to have polls about upcoming races.
Thanks,
Albevo.

After ideas from Mariokart, Aaron and Chad, the weekly vote options could be something like this:

Wed 2nd April:
Car Class:
TBO
GTR
F08
BF1

Track:
SO1
SO2
SO3
SO4
SO5
SO6

Wed 9th April
Car Class:
FR
LFR
FWD GTR
FOX
FBM

Track:
FE1
FE2
FE3
FE4

etc...
By using car classes we reduce the possible options, plus still allow a choice of which car they race.
Thoughts Welcome.

Thanks mcgas001.
Mariokart I think that's a good idea, then we can use lfsforums "poll" capability to vote for the car and track each week. If we have our own subsection we can make 2 new threads each week, (one for car, one for track) with the poll at top and we can do as far into the future as we want... maybe 2 weeks in advance so we know what's coming up. Only issue would be with non-member votes interfering with the results. That's where an aaron or chad created website would be better, but it's up to them whether they would be willing to put in the work to create and update it. But I think we should at least try it here, did you want to contact Victor, and should I?
