Ah, nice to see some arguing still going on. I've been playing this game since the first release. I don't even remember when it was but I believe it was at the end of 2012.

You could talk ages about death of LFS. How do you define LFS is dead? Dead development? Dead community? I'd say the community defines if it's living or not. Developers defines the gaming experience. Nevertheless, I haven't played LFS actively since 2008 because life happened. But I'm still waiting for S3 and hoping I could someday continue playing. LFS is definitely the best driving sim I've ever played. Maybe not the most entertaining all the time but this is not a commercial game so I don't expect it to be.

Just saying - I just finished Monkey Island 1 & 2 on my iPhone. Still waiting a new one to come, even though Luca's Arts will be dead.
11906 litres of fuel burned, last race online 19 April 2008.

When I tried the first version available in 2002 at the age of 15 I steered with mouse. I didn't have a wheel and I didn't like the keyboard steering. So, after some time I went and bought a joystick with my own money. Didn't afford a wheel. In 2006 after four years of quite active racer I finally managed to buy a Momo wheel. It was the time when LFS really hit me. After every single update I've waited for the next one to see what kind of improvements they've managed to make. But now after 10 years of playing, years of waiting, getting rid of my playing gear (including my PC) and having a child...I'm still waiting. Just because I love the game.

10 years have passed, babies pop up and new things come along with LFS. But I think the devs devotion isn't gone as mine definitely isn't. I think they just got laid. Women...

So...as I've lived my life with LFS by my side I raise my mouse to the devs (have to raise the whole damn Macbook for this one). Congratulations! I've enjoyed every moment!

Quote from danowat :I would be inclinded to say there is a problem with sharing tweaks, kones R32 has 400,000bhp, and this is what that sort of power does to the poor XFG illepall .

Umm.. I don't know but when I made it, it had 241bhp and everything was fine. When I load it now, it has only 155bhp and everything's messed up. LFSTweak shows that the engine is a 3189cc V6 but in game it's a V4. Not my fault

Here's my 2002 Golf R32 tweak and set. Tweak is almost perfect but the set is crap, except the gear ratios.
I couldn't get danowats tweak to work so I made my own.

I got the MecaniK to work last time I tried but now I don't.. I downloaded the 0.5P exe and abc file but now it says "Could not load font". If I remember right, I did the same thing before and it worked fine.

Buses? That's the stupidest idea ever for a game like this! Go and buy Midtown Madness if you want to drive buses etc.

Here's a small list of the cars I wanna see in LFS some day

Pagani Zonda F
Farboud GT/GTS
Ariel Atom
Koenigsegg CCR
Super 2000 series cars, more sedans, Le Mans series cars etc.

Couple of "wierdos" like SUV's/trucks for an experiment wouldn't hurt, or would it? But maybe later like in LFS S19 or something
