To get full 6DOF support, within LFS, you will need to update the gaming application to version X.

To update to version X -

Start your current version of LFS (Demo or Full install).
Select the Multiplayer screen.
Click on List of Games.
You will then be given the option to automatically install the update; please allow.
The software will restart, providing full 6DOF support.

Quote from mikey_G :What about trackIR support? I thought it was supposed to have support, but I've stll haven't read anything concrete about it.

iRacing gaminging ID has been made public. Please just run the games list updater, within the TrackIR software. After the TrackIR software restarts iRacing should be listed in the games list.......

enjoy

Quote from DarrenMarsh :FOV yes from about 40 to 135 degrees IIRC.

Eye point, no. It's cockpit view only, fixed position, and fov is the only thing you can adjust. It has the usual look left/right button support. No look behind, but it has a virtual mirror as in most sims.

TrackIR support is in the sim, but was waiting on a new driver release from NaturalPoint to add the support on their side. That was from early May, so if there have been any driver releases since then, it may be supported already.

Currently just waiting on the official ok to release the developer ID...............

So changing the hotkey doesn't allow it to work?

Any other keyboard, or controller software running in the background?

Quote from Widdowmaker :The track IR should be agood bit of kit - but not owning one - I dont feel it would give me a realistic feel. I tilt my head when driving normally (not on LFS) so I could imagine the view moving with me and it would be wierd.

I found that buying a 3h2go gave me what I was looking for -Ive got faster, which is a good indicator.

I would still like a Track iR.... but not for LFS.

The abilty to use, or not use an axis is fully adjustable, within the TrackIR software. So if you tilt your head, when you drive, and what to turn it off, you just have to disable the roll feature.
