Well, we are quite many that lives in Europe and the right side of the globe in general. So it is significant for us to have a location in Europe that provides us with a good latency, to even consider your services.

Latency literally kills the game.

Dave-NRT: Any progress of how it's going with getting locations in Europe?

:weeping: No progress report last year! How could you?! :arge:

Quote from mbutcher :
It's already been made perfectly clear that there is going to be new content (new cars etc.)

Yeah, but that's AFTER the new physics has been released.

Quote from Gai-Luron :
Release 6.0.1.3 available to replace 6.0.1.2.

Correct LFSLapper issue with 0.6E.
Replace only LFSLapper.exe

Where can i read the changelog for this update? Would be nice to get more information of what fixes was made with this one, related to latest patch 0.6E.

EDIT: I don't know if this update is related to the random crashes LFSLapper has started with on the latest patch, but version 6.0.1.3 does the same for me.

Quote from MadCatX :V 1.99A has been released.

Please give it a try and let me know if you come across any problems.before reporting any bugs, thanks.

I tried, but when i launch it up i get an error message, as it crashes instantly. Sorry i couldn't provide any more valuble information than this.

Installed the program you linked to, and had to get an additional dll-file called 'msvcp110d' i think. I'm running Win7 64bit, not sure if that has anything to do with it, but atleast you know my OS.

Scawen: Tyre physics and core updates by all means, but that does not explain why Eric cannot release any new content what so ever. As i recall, it's him thats responsible for that? The new physics cannot be an obstruction for new content, as the current physics are still great.

Eric is very bad at dropping by here on the forums, is he even active and working at all? Some information updates regarding the situation would be nice.

Quote from MonStarr :Bahahaha, are you kidding me?!?! One year later.... And this is the best improvement of the sim that people are getting???? The new physics were mentioned in 2010... For nearly 3 years this is the progress that we get? I stopped regarding that i spent my money on this Sim a long time ago, now it's just funny to watch the "progress".

They have never given any release date regarding the new physics. And if you dig a little deeper with some research, you will start to realise it's not an easy task thats made over a day. Besides, the current physics are good as it is, so i don't see why people are so eager with new physics, since the current are still better than many other games out there.

I'm only glad that they are still working on this fantastic simulator, and to be honest i think that Scawen prioritize correctly, with fixing the simulator's core over some new physics and content. (And i'm pretty sure that Scawen has mentioned, that Eric is the one that is responsible for content updates.)

Simply just break the pattern by joining a drift server that has tracks, instead of following the newb-stream on those Autocross ones, and people will join after you in a couple of minutes.

Seemingly small update, but yet so important and crucial. Good work! 0.6C Patch, indeed will be great!

Scawen: Out of curiosity, what is your thoughts/view of increasing default skins to 1024x? We all know the technology today are much better, but what would it mean for you?
I hope you could provide a more deeply response about your thoughts, in a general aspect. * Forgive me if this has already been answered before *

So... what is your definition of '"later"?

There's already plenty of great advices mentioned in here, so i'm not going to repeat any of that. But what i would like to add additionally what also matters is you should have your wheel configurated and settled up properly.

You can always explore and see what suits you the most, but a good value to start with that most people use:
FFB / Spring / Damping / Centerspring / Degrees
105% / 0 / 0 / 0 / 720 (35% ingame)

This combo works on most degrees values very well, and you can add some centringspring if you feel that suits and help you out. But having too much on that, will kinda make the wheel drift for you. So i recommend not going over 45%, but it's a matter of taste.

Also i would like to add that if your interested and dedicated to drifting, you should take a visit at www.LFSDrift.net where you can find more advices and people who share the same interest.

MadCatX: Just to clarify since it's abit blurry. Does this work with the current test patches now?

So if that's true, the cost of an 47 slots LFS server is $360 / per year.

Can't say thats very cheap, it's hella expensive. I doubt that attracts anyone to consider their services..

Noticed they are lacking on information regarding LFS on their page. Since your a customer there already, perhaps you can enlighten us up of their current prices per slot/discounts?

Thanks.
