Ubuntu can't possibly "steal" bandwidth from your Windows installation 
However, if you remove Ubuntu you have to reset Windows original boot loader, and this is done by booting the Windows installation CD, going into repair mode and typing 'fixmbr' at the DOS prompt.
You should really install antivirus software and do a scan for ad-ware i Windows though. Something is definatley wrong when the speed differs that much.
Try Spybot for ad-ware problems, and AntiVir as antivirus software. Both these are freeware.

I'm Swedish but i use English language in LFS.
It has nothing to do with the translation being bad or something like that.
It's actually better than some proprietary softwares. Holy smokes the Worms games had poor translation.

@CALTURB, you should be OK if you just select "Hot Lapping" in the main menu.
That is known as hot lapping, but you have to buy S2 to get that feature i think.
You really should give Company of Heroes a shot though. I have never gotten as exhausted by a computer game as i was when i played the campaign in CoH.
I agree. At least, a different projection could have been used. Look at Scandinavia compared to the rest of Europe. It's huge.

True, but mostly in a good way. The SAS part of Call of Duty 4 is one of the best SP-campaigns i've ever played. I especially liked the mission with the AC-130.
I bet that rule doesn't apply to Chuck Norris.
