Back to LFS after a long stint.

Here's my cars (both abused on brands hatch too):

The backup reliable jap car: Suzuki ignis sport 1.5 vvti. It's not bad. 950kg and 110~bhp.



And the other car: BMW Z3 2.8. It's also not bad, feels pretty heavy for a small car though:

I had to buy another a while back (posted here somewhere about it) and ended up getting a fairly cheap £16 power supply that is made for laptops. my ones called "Sumvision 120W Laptop Power Adapter / Laptop Power Adapter" and works just like the original, not too sure if you can still get it but a laptop power supply should work as long as the specs match/are greater than the logitech one.

Was just wondering if that was allright to use for a G25? seems like it should work but I know nothing about this sort of stuff

I think I need a whole new power supply for my g25, it suddenly cut out during a session of gaming (happened ages ago) and the forcefeedback was gone (green light was also fairly weak) and i've now decided to attempt to get it sorted. Anyone know of a compatible power supply that I could buy? seems that the originals are hard to find :/

Might aswell say a quick hello Loving this game, even if it overheats my gpu . This has to be the best £24 ive spent on a racing game, now i just need more practise

Ok guys thanks for all the advice i'm gonna clean out my PC very soon as its a bit too dusty im not gonna try reapplying the heatsink as it seems too much work for my old system, if my graphics card suddenly explodes (hopefully without taking my computer with it) then i will just by a cheap replacement. Also my LE card isnt too bad after all, its still the same 6800 core, just a bit less powerful.

Well it hit 99c while running that ati tool thing, seems a bit high but the threshold of the graphics card is at 127c so it should be ok.

Just ran LFS again this morning and it seems to have sorted itself out :o
Also ran ati tool for 1 hour and it found no artifacts, maybe it was just windows xp getting messed up.

Hey everyone

I'm having some sort of weird problem with the graphics of LFS. lines are going everywhere so now i cant play properly as it is quite bad heres an example:



PC specs:
AMD 64 3200
1 gb ram
geforce 6800LE 128mb
160gb maxtor HD
nothing is overclocked and cooling seems ok (5 loud fans )


Any help is appreciated.
