Yes. I totally agree. And thank you Scawen for this server option. And as I wrote before, its´still on option to allow or deny. No harm done.

Of course I´m going to have forced cockpit view on myserver as the game is a racing sim..

"Tomorrow, sunday at 17.00 GTM (19.00 Danish local time).
This is going to be the first one of a series of individual Unity/TDRT Sunday evening races.
Rules for tomorrow:
Track: Aston National
Cars: FXR/XRR/FZR
60mins qualification followed by 10 laps races with pitstop required. Startorder: Fixed quali- or last raceresult.
Begin: 17.00 GTM (19.00 Danish local time).
End: latest 20.00 GTM ( 22.00 Danish local time).
Server: UNITY-racing.com
Password will be provided tomorrow afternoon (MSN or PM).

If it´s going to be individual racer contest or it will be declared as teamrace will depend on how many racers/teams are going to attend.

Hard to reproduce but I really believe this guy who explains me after a race that even with activated pitlimiter me got this 84km/h in the pits. See att. file.

How about a little database how the diff. cars are performing on the various tracks after version X?
As a FXR driver of course my POV is that the XRR and FZR cars still are too fast...

I can confirm. Server crashes and LFS exits.
But pls. delete all threads about this issue as there is no need to give some ppl. stupid ideas.

This needs to get fixed ASAP.

I´m actually afraid og the day I´ll focus on hotlapping.

The chase for race positions and race victories will be over and be replaced by the chase for some 0.0x secs.

No more chatting/talking to others but offline all alone...

I can see that some of you spend quite some time doing offline hotlapping.

Is this better then online racing in your oppinion ?

Do you really prefere to be all alone on a racetrack chasing the clock?

I´d like to understand your motivation to hotlap for loads of hours and I´d rather see you on some server racing together with other LFS players as well.

What would your oppinion be about cancelling all offline hotlapping and include it while online racing if some day the game would have come to the stage of developement where all cutting is probited/monitored? LFSworld stats HL/WR would be adjusted as well at this time of course..

I yesterday had the pleasure to get visited by a server crasher - he succeeded in his mission which took him about 15 secs.

Lapper installed in 7 month this has never happened to me.

I installed LFSstat yesterday and only 1 hour later the guy crashes my server.

Just had a chat with gwendoline and we agreed that I try to explain a improvement for lapper which I for first time saw in Mischa´s lapper version. Basically, it doesn´t show TPB´s at the splits anymore, but how far you off your best lap driven on this server at this lap and splittime. IMO, the !spb command is good enought to, whenever you want to have a look at it, show you your TPB as it´s not really interesing during a race or hotlapping on a server. But to get an indication how far you are off your best lap riven on the server is (IMO). Mischa´s lapper explained in pictures. See att. files.

I have seen your french lapper and I think it has some great improvements. Very good job there. I just want to share Mischa´s IMO brilliant idea on lapper.

Hi there,
raced one the Bug 2 Server. Did a replay. Left the server.
Watched the replay - pressed escape.
Went into options menu.
klicked on the various option menues inthere but nothing happened.
Instead I got these mgs. " Pls. wait - a player is connecting". ( see file )
I was not online.
Add. there was no way to get out of the option menu but pressing the escape button.
Couldn´t reproduce this fault. See att. file.

Your CPU is just fine, your graphics is under middle class but you should be just fine for LSF and not beeing able to connect isn´t at all related to graphics or CPU .

Btw, as this rare CPU is the only Intel P4 CPU with FSB 533 and 512kb L2 cache with Hyper-Threading Technology you´d get a good price for it.

A good car/track combo ? I´m still waiting for a max. slot S1 server with XFG/XRG only on BL and BL rev and another track mayby as well.

Not sure if this matter is of any importance or if it has been mentioned already.

Tonight ( June 3th ) i was racing on the test bug 2 server and did a couple of races there. As I´m able to see other player results i raced on this server my own results are not in lfsworld.net stats. . Not even that I have joined the server. Send me a PM if interested in my S2 account name.
I have a lapper version W server running from my IP. Is this the reason why mayby? I have no explanation

BTW: It was great fun racing about 30 XFG´s at Blackwood. My framerate dropped from normally 120 to 30, still fun and playable.
Pls. enable the XRG´s as well.
I´m aware of it´s primary for testing, still .... ;-)
