Just done a race with the GT3 @ COTA. Man it was a really long race, but enjoyable, while being on the edge the whole time.
Didn't have much practice on the track, was managing 2,06.xx in testing.

I'm having real issues with FPS on this track, about 40-70. I guess the size of the track is effecting that, always turning around facing back into the track, drawing the most detail.
By the end of the race I had a headache because of the fps issue.

Be glad of next week went we move to Phillip Island, which im looking forward to. Always enjoyed that track with the V8 and with driving the BMW it should be soo much easier.

So I accidentally let my account renew for a year without a discount. Oh well, I went ahead and bought the GT3 cars and COTA.

Got to say i've not had this much fun in iRacing for a while. I am driving the BMW to be fair. Pretty much starting on the front 2 rows with a good qualifying and race pace in Div 3. I'm sure once I move up I will find it harder and be in the mid pack, but finishing 2nd to 3rd a race is becoming great fun.

Ant, it's worth checking out if your interested. It's very easy to keep out of trouble.

Yeah, it handles really well now with this suspension setup. Still to get used to it , going to Silverstone in September for a car show and trying some track action.

Need to setup the damping for track use, as for the moment it's only set quite light on the damping.

Yeah I will be doing the EK9 headlight mod. But going with the gun metal colour. I believe you are correct, those are the same wing mirrors.

Another shameless plug for my civic, I hope to turn it into this in about a years time. Wheels I already have, going white until I get the backyard special bumper.

Looking well good now, hate chrome. You have matt blacked the chrome in the headlights right?

I enjoyed racing star mazda but it tank slaps like a random POS.

Now signed back up again, will need to work out what I can race in without having to spend massively on content
