I've been racing with a mouse in LFS on and off since 2003, almost 30,000 miles worth, and I agree.

damn near perfect. my only request is for the stock race setup to boost the braking power. It can go quite a bit higher before abs kicks in and best times are in the territory of very very mild abs kick-in (1300/1400?)

This gen civic was my first car. Incredible to sit in this mod in vr. I can almost smell it.

I don't think the handling is quite right but that may be the engine more than the mod.

Using the LFS auto-shift.

With mods i've gotten used to figuring out which will and won't perform well in auto, and do switch to manual. such as the case with this car.

In manual, I am used to letting the gas off to shift.

Weird habits from growing up with M/K on this sim and learning to drift that way over 20,000+ driven miles. lol. I don't mind manual but i've gotten used to the wonky and/or good behavior the auto shift mode puts out.

Love this mod. 10/10 sounds, 10/10 driving feel, 10/10 balance.

Good car. Only flaw is auto-shift doesn't exit to next gear from redline quite often.

In manual shift it overheats the clutch way too easily. get a few drifts out of it and it melts.

Small feature request for VR DK2 mode: bring live chat nearer the center of view and slightly enlarge it.

Right now it's either: super small hud to bring it into view while racing, barely readable. Or: I crane my neck to look that far away from the road and crash or veer just to read a text. (juust like real life, i suppose, if you were texting. but I never had issue on a monitor. just glance quick.)
