I was aware of some paid DLC.
I meant paid content iRacing-like. As far as I know, the majority of content is paid. I wouldn't mind paying for some content even in LFS as long I can still participate in events and have a decent amount of fun.
I don't, and it's definitely a let down to know they'll go for the pay-for-content scheme. That's what kept me away from iRacing, I hope this won't turn out to be like that.
So I finally got the money to buy this 
Just wanted to leave my first impressions here.
After messing with the wheel settings around I got the KTM to feel like what I wanted (LFS-esque). The car feels great and the I felt no steering input like I experienced in other games. A little like LFS which made me very happy. Laptime wise, I'm rusty, only 1:59.0 in Imola
Then I tried other cars lol F40, 458 and M3 GT2 are completely undrivable for me at the moment (maybe I should add traction control?). The 49T at Monza 66 is just an incredible sensation, graphical and physics wise :o

Has to be this, I believe it was 2008-2009 MoE series, where we got our first championship win. I later got a penalty in this race (I think I lagged for a bit and sort of crashed into that same spdo car some laps later) but it was awesome

Ahaha none of us is active right now, and we sort of lost contact with each other since we stopped playing LFS :\ There's no way we could get a competitive team back in short notice, specially because our top drivers (Rambo and Vince) have sailed to other seas :P
But I'm sure that with enough incentive we could bring back a good part of the old team

Yep, lurking all the way. Don't have the time to race atm because of college, and even if I had LFS just died out. Unless they bring some great update, I don't see myself racing as I used to.
Wow 10 years? A lot of time has passed..
Sad to see how the game in which I put so much effort and wasted so many hours become what it is now, and if it's still running it's because of the great community it still clearly has.

I'm with Rudy here, I think it's a great solution. That chicane is nothing but trouble everytime we pass through it, and at those speeds, even if we hit a pole, or something it won't fly 1 km (hopefully).

The track looks really great with all the elevations, but it's still too soon to be the host of any event, as there isn't even natural grass around the circuit (parking lot and some roads are still in dirt); there aren't stores or restaurants in the actual circuit, just some coffee-like shops, that sell all the same.
Also, next weekend it'll be the host of the FIA GT. Though, as i said, still very soon to race there. Hope it gets good really quickly
