i dont see the point of this thread, although scawen gave the instructions how the installer do not enter any values in the registry. so whats the point? the installer has no disadvantages, but some advantages, so imo it's good to have one

you can take a look to the OWRL (http://www.owrl.de). there is a FO8 championship, but you can not enter this directly, you have to qualify for that through achiving a good result in the DivB-championship. the FO8 championship is called DivA league. it's really worth to go through DivB, there is really close and fair racing and when you did this, imo the people you meet in DivA are one of the best you can meet in single seaters.

Quote from amp88 :No, the 0.9G in the first post is for lateral acceleration rather than longitudinal acceleration. 0.09G is very low for a longitudinal acceleration...at that rate of constant G force it would take over 30 seconds to go from 0-60mph.

did i understand it wrong? in the first post i think he asks, if 0.9g is too much for XRG and longitudinal acceleration, but in the screenshot the longitudinal acceleration is 0.09g

i dont understand your problem, because you wrote about supercars nearly hitting the 0.9g. i think for the cars in the magazine, it's meant acceleration. in your screenshot the XRG has 0.09g acceleration forces, the 0.9g you see in the shot are the "sideway forces", so i dont understand the base of the discussion. i think 0.09g is nearly realistic for a car like XRG and forces more than 0.9g you can have in normal cars, when you are driving fast corners :P

i saw all this and took a look into the code, but dont understand, why it only write out the html-version and no other one
if i use it with replays the only version is html, all other output-versions seem to be disabled, that's why i asked.

i think the easiest way to use results from lfsworld would be a possibility to export the detailed race data on lfsworld with something like a link in race datails view to export a propper xml file, which can be used as result upload for lfsnews?? this will shorten the path for authors a lot and all data can be used ???

thx for the answer no problem with the replay uploads, i was unsure about automatic analysing, this would be the only reason it would be important to upload it.

i have some questions according the results for a news.

1. atm there is a good solution to upload a propper xml-file. is there any software available to extract such a file? (from mpr's or lfsworld race results) one thought i had with this: all races are available from lfsworld, what about a way to select a past race (perhaps depending on a driver name in it or something like this)? all the data is available and could be used, or?

2. i used the interface to post some news from the OWRL. but the mpr's are all to big to upload. what is the solution, when i have a 2 hours race and want to upload the replay? not possible? (do i understand it correctly, that mpr's will be parsed for extracting the results?)

thx
export for lfsnews?

i hope this was not asked in this thread before (i did not read all posts), but i have a question, some kind of extension, or correct me, if the LFSSTats already do this: how about including an export option to export the results in xml format lfsnews accepts for uploading results ? if there is any other solution for exporting such a file for this, pls teach me

keep up the good work

do you have any other controller than the G25 connected to your pc? there are problems in lfs, when there is a second controller (gamepad or smth like this)

amp88 is right, it's not possible to get info about fuel in multiplayer with insim. if you mean "control" the the sense of setting the amount of fuel, then this is not possible in any way. the only possible way is the alreasy named OutGage interface, but you dont need to analyze a saved spr. you can do it directly, only opening an insim port for the outgage app. as an example you can take a look at http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=52787 . you can watch the values on another pc than lfs is running on, so perhaps this is what you need

Quote from amp88 :To the guys above...what was the point in posting if you didn't know what the OP wanted? He asked in good English, so it wasn't a question of understanding broken English written by someone using a translator. If you don't know anything about something don't post. i think i wrote this some time ago, but worth to repeat it :
could it be possible to insert buttons in the gui, so you can force the display of standings (positions/pitstops) ? this would be really usefull, when you grab only short scenes from a race, but you wanna have the usefull standing info shown. atm i think it's random, or?

pls, can you do the same for driver "Kevin Scholz" (OConner) in our team? sorry, that we need to ask that again, but he is not active anymore in lfs and didnt react to emails, so the only way we can think of is that you switch him to automatic too and then the rejection from lfs-team will work.

thanks a lot for your help

in the new section "CTRA Participation Statistics" i have under "Races this month: show newest first" all my points and positions listed with bar and with really nice tooltips. but that i only get with opera9.61 and ie but not with firefox3.03. did you know that?

unbelievable what happened in that race i was not there and not racing, but i have an opinion to the actions happened:

1. P.Taylor: dont take it personal, but what you did is unbelievable, you did a mistake pressing 'i' , not 't' (unclear on itself, the keys are not really so near each other ) and because of that you turned of your engine. but why rejoining is a solution for that ? total wrong decision from race admin in that situation. i mean oneGP try to be as realisitic as reality (as far this is possible in lfs), giving a hard and long list of rules and then you allow SHIFT+P in the race? why that ? and P.Taylor was not the only one, who did this. very inconsistent decisions

the meaning of BLUE FLAG is clear i think, or ? so i also dont understand why not acting like this, i think there were more than one situation where crashes start because not handling it correctly, or do i see something wrong ?

i mean, some decision made by race admins and some acting of some drivers really didn't look very professional and i was really shocked, when my teammate telled me the story of the race day. i just wanted to give "my kleks senf" to that, needed to say that.

yeah, it was really the perfect time for the SC according to tyre temps. so the weak laps with hot tyres did not happen. all in all i hoped for a second SC after the pitstops to open up new chances and make it more excited for the viewer. in the second half it was not excited as the first half, or? the distances between drivers were too large for nice fights.

for me it was a really nice race. in qualy i really messed up, realizing after 10 mins, that i was running with the race set, struggling to get a propper lap in and hit it in the last minute. so startposition was okay for me. i think all of us could drive a little bit faster, but that's the thrill to get it in the right time
no probs with the start and the first corners so i was able to hold and improve my position. as i recognized, that storm was behind me, i knew, it would be a really hard job to hold him. i know him well and i know, that usally he is faster than me (we both drive in the OWRL F1 ). but the track is very tricky for overtaking and i was able to not giving him a really good chance to pass me. in the end of 1st stint i was not sure, if the fuel would be enough for another lap, so i pitted one lap before storm, that was the wrong decision. he came in a lap later and was able to gain the gap, so we were on switched positions after pitstop. now i knew, that this place was lost and my only possibilty would be a SC phase, but this didn't happen in the second race half. so the second half was more bringing home the podium than aggressive racing

all in all a very good one. there is one thing, which really annoyed me during the sessions: the chatting! i asked it in the forum before race and an admin refered to the rules, where chatting was covered and there was written, that chatting is not allowed. the problem is, it's not penalized. in cases the chatting while session is forbidden, all chat messages are relevant info (messages about pitstops or admin messages). so i take a look to the chat-line and when i only see a non-relevant chat-message, everyone of that focuses the attention away from track. i really struggled with that in the qualy session, because there was a lot of chatting. imo one way to solve that is really to forbid it and penalize it. in the owrl every chatline gives a 5 second penalty to the raceresult and there is really no chatting happining while sessions

big gratz to 1st and 2nd place, @storm: really nice, fair and clean fight

Quote from TFalke55 :maybe an appeal to everyone today who's driving, don't do the same like in the International Formula Master's Race today, where they had 3 Cautions so far, because of drivers not leaving room to eachother. There were partly new drivers in the field, like in today's OneGP race! We're having a race of over an hour, so keep cool, stay away... I know such behaviour should be normal for us... but it should also be a normal behaviour for professional drivers... so i wanted to point it out.
