Thanks for the help: I tried the team infoerno setup immediatly after the race and found i was 2 seconds faster (hence i questioned my tyres).

I have also been straight shifting without needing to blip the throttle but i will look at the engine cut off option.

The rest of it im sure will come with practice as the season progresses, unfortunatly thursday pretty much has to be my only LFS night due to a busy schedule over the next few weeks

This is something ive already raised with the Piston Broke Racing guys, but i wondered if anyone else had any insights into making these things go quick. In the last race i became totally exasperated when i was over 4 seconds off the division 2 pace (and i run quite successfully in meny other leagues so i knew it was not just me :schwitz

So far in 2 rounds i have established:

- The car is light on feul, a 50% full tank is not needed, about 0.5% a lap is just fine

- Hybrid tyres are better than Normal Road tyres

- The car needs to be shifted up a gear at about 6-7000 RPM instead of 9-10000 which is where my ear thinks it should

- The default setup is not a good start at all.

However any other 'key info' would be greatly recived.

Also a final point, Dyno was good enough to send me his setup in Quali. However when i checked the garage it was not there to be selected? where to sent setups go?

just the opinion of one of the tailenders caught up on the front of the race 2 grid.... its quite scary through those first few bends as you know people will be trying to clear you like your a chicane instead of another car.

UPDATED: went on and did an hours quali with the guys then the pre PWD 10 lapper. Fraid i have other gaming commitments for the rest of this eve though

However to back up the 'can you drive' question i can throw a few references in. Both Legsy, Santaclaws and occassionaly Moose have all raced with me before. Im also in my 3rd season of NetKar's GPC series with recent success of a podium in the Grp B race at Monaco (which Moose will tell you, takes some consitency )
