I don't get why everyone badmouths vista. I had a custom comp built for me by a friend and he wanted to put vista home premium on it. I was iffy because of all the bad stuff I heard about it but I have not experianced any problems with it so far. Steam and CS:S work fine, lfs works fine, everything is great. Also, it's way faster than my old pc. I guess most of that is attributed to the better parts in this one, but still, I have no lag whatsoever.

How can there not be an answer? Do people not know what they think? I just want some legitimate racers who dislike drifters to say why and vice versa. I can't think of any arguments except like, 'drift takes no skill' or 'racers are n00bs.' These are pretty illegitimate comments although I've heard them before. I've also heard stupid remarks about one drifter doing something bad and then someone sayy, 'see, all drifters are bad.'
If it's been held before and you guys are annoyed by this, oh well.
What, we should just leave a problem unspoken for? I don't want to see suggestions threads for drifter's wants being stuffed full of flames about drifting being unimportant and how we don't need stuff for drifters. I'd rather people say what they want in this thread and leave those threads clean of flames.

This is a reply to joen's post, not csu1's. I agree with you csu, we need one place where drifters can go complain about racers and racers can complain about drifters. I don't know if two threads would be a good idea though because drifters wouldn't look at the racer's thread and vice versa. For now, let's have this thread be the place to complain.

No, I don't care about who's who, I care because I was just reading the thread about a demo racer not getting helped and somebody replied by saying they flamed them for either grammer, being a drifter, etc. etc. I've heard drifters talk smack about racers too. This is what I don't get and what I do care about.

Hey everybody. I'm confused as to why there is always conflict between drifters and racers. What's the problem? Personally, I race a lot, and I'm fast; in FOX on BLGP I have the sixth fastest hotlap at 1.07.27, and I could go faster but I'm tired of hotlapping. Also, whenever I join a race that has like fo8s or gtrs, it takes me about one or two races to get on to the leader's pace in any track/car combo. Sometimes it takes longer, but I'm never the guy who joins a server and runs 5-7 seconds slower than the leader for two days.
But then, I also love drifting. I recently joined the Worx team and drifting is a lot of fun. I'd say I'm a little bit worse at drifting than racing, but I'm no spinner.
So I don't get it; I drift and I race, and I do both well so I'm not some n00b talkin as I'm sure many of you will assume, so why is there some conflict between drifters and racers? Who cares!?! Go drive!

Just a quickie to get back in my groove. You guys should check out my GT4 gallery on GT4. Especially check out the last few updates in the gallery as they include some cool things i'd like to do with pictures here. And does anybody else think we should have personal galleries like on GTP? Maybe someone said it but I'm too lazy to search.

I'd like to race for the McLaren team

I was having the same problem but here's what I did. On lfsworld/insim or w.e, i put the I.P. as 127.0.0.1 I doubt i even need that part but w/e. For the port, i put 29999 and the password mike. I wanted to use lfs tv director, so i set that to use port 29998. Then, I went to start, settings, control panel, Security, and clicked the firewall tab. Then advanced or w/e, and Add port. I named it 29999 and the # was 29999, and click the UDP tab, or w/e it's called. Not the Tcs one. Then I opened another port, same way, except 29998. Then In game, i typed, /insim 29998 and it worked. /insim 29999 gave me some bind fail, but w/e. I'm sure half the stuff I did was unneccesary, but that's step by step what I did, because I spent two days trying to figure it out and nothing worked.

Here's the base. A few little things are different, like the black on the front nose doesnt flow from side to top, but you can fix that yourselves. These were fixed for the mclaren, but I don't wanna release that one yet.

This is the first skin im uploading because its my 1st one that I think is good. Sorry, it's private. I could give the base metal paint if anyone wants it. Took me forever to make so please comment.

Idk if it's been posted, (its not in the log) but it would be really cool to have a Nurburgring for lfs. If a real 'ring isn't possible, then maybe the devs could make a track that is similar to the 'ring, with tight roads and lots of turns and all that stuff that make the Nurb the best track in the world.
