Why would it possibly mean that? All cars in LFS can be configured as you please, so why should this be different? My guess is Victor took this shot, which explains the difference from earlier ones. Occam's razor.

Of course I can't know what the contract says but major manufacturers tend to be quite pedantic about this kind of things, a bit like damage stuff.

I wish manufacturers were more pedantic about driving model and physics too, in that case they wouldn't be giving licences for games like Need for Bling

I think its just down to the fact that they have took more detail over the car. The last thing they want is to show the car to those insane germans, for them to shout "NIEN!! IT LOOKS NO LIKE ZE REAL TING!" etc.

Edit - Just noticed the door on the scirocco still looks "gapless" like other LFS cars. That annoys me for some reason.

Im not sure, imagine that a bumper fell off after someone drove into you, or vice cersa obviously. Then dev would have to develop some ai that runs out into the track and collects all the bumpers! or am I wrong!? </sarcasm>

The car that will be put into LFS, will be based off of the 2.0 TSi, which is the turbo model.

Kinda a shame tbh, considering how many much more exciting alternatives there would be. Yet another FWD. Yet another turbo. But I guess the devs have to take the chances to get real cars and a bit of publicity "for free" where they can.

I agree there are much more exciting cars out there to add, but like you said, they must have to take every offer they can get.

Who knows? Maybe if VW is really impressed with the scirocco in LFS, maybe the devs and VW would create a good relationship...which could lead to more VW's... R32 here i come!
