Hey, the designated driver needs something to drink also.....sometime we get them an Irn-Bru if it is a special night.

BTW I take it it's still normal for Irn-Bru not to be sold in England, I'll have to smuggle in my own bottles then.

I havn't loitered around the soft drink sections of super markets for some time, but i'm sure Irn-Bru is still around. England is pretty multi-cultural so they tend to cater for everyone, including rampaging Scotsmen. Especially in York where tourists can rent a crossbow.
I haven't seen Irn Bru for ages, actually. Not in supermarkets or anywhere else. Hadn't even noticed it was gone.

I've been drinking quite a lot of ginger beer lately though. Mmm. There's nice ginger beer about.
Quote from jasonmatthews :Or better still, the next person who pays their deposit can give it to Mike, so he get's his money back

That's the plan yes. I'll sort out who on the 9th.

I don't think I could take the chance of not finding it, so I will be smuggling in 3 bottles of Irn-Bru into enemy teritory, the only hangover cure that works.

Ginger beer ...aye aye...

Where the hell is Spankmeyer when you need a good quality punchline...

I know this is like sleeping with the enemy, but I quite like the full English breakfast to overcome those post-alchohol blues. It doesnt stop me waving the flag of independence around though provided they dont actually give it to us, we all know Wales would be bankrupt in a day if they did.
I really can't afford this, but what the hell i'm an expert at burying my head in the sand - so save me 27 pages of hunting through the deposit was £25 nuggets right? Is there a paypal address or sommit?
The deposit is 50% of the total cost, that being £61.69. This is stated in the first post, for your convenience.

To save you the maths: I will be wanting £30.85 from you. Payment details will be sent around on the 9th.
oooooo a local one

could be tempted, will check the diary
I have [SR] Keith's deposit right now so please sign him up and pm me the paypal details

BTW, that is 5 from SR coming now, you will see us from our SR t-shirts (on sale soon)
Details will go out on the 9th. I don't want to be taking people's money until the karting centre are asking for it, which will be on the 9th when I extend the contract for the karting to however many people are in.
Ben, just so you know, I am going to be on holiday from the 9th (I already paid the deposit) so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me until the 17th.

If anything major happens which changes proceedings, you can assume I will go with the majority and vote on my behalf

Tim
I wish I could go to this, sounds like it'll be a brilliant time. But, alas, I don't have money, and have other things scheduled (getting ready to go back to school).

But, if I were there, maybe I'd have to try out my Race Director LFS skills on a real track. haha !

But to those going, best wishes on a safe and fun trip and race !

Cool. With you in and DavidSco dropping out, we're now upto 21 people confirmed. Still room for 5 others though!
No more takers? I'll be extending the booking once I've had lunch, so StableX, xWolFx, tongey - you don't have much time!
Tongey won't be making it
OK, thanks for letting me know. From his last PM to me, I suspected as much anyway.

Looks like 21 it is then.
Hi... im only 15 so didnt bother registering for the event, although I have been before and enjoyed it. However, would it be possible to spectate? And, mainly, for free? I can come on my pedal bike and it only takes 20minutes or so.

Thanks for any help you can give
Of course, you're welcome to come over and cheer for us Spectating is free.
Ok, I'm heading down to Newcatle on Friday night, and I fancy a bit of live poker....any locals know of anything nearby.

We have at least 3 casinos.

One in Chinatown (Stowell Street), one behind the station, and one somewhere else.
I'm gonna have to drop out of my spectator slot unfortunately, found out today that I'm in London that weekend.
