exhaust volume at 1.0 is too quiet and you can have it much higher than that without clipping as my update proves. it isnt just exhaust volume that can cause clipping you know ? lowering the tone variation can cause bad clipping aswell.

I only suggest that cause tone variation alters the sound tone a bit and I knew if I suggested to do that that someone would say, "Yeah, but now it sounds all different and sux" or something I didn't want to mess about with your sound 'cause someone might tell me off for editing someones work without permission or something.
Also compared to the default XRT it was way too loud for me anyways, it was sounding louder than a GTR and felt a little bizaar for myself. Sorry, but this is how I see it, if you see it otherwise then ok. If you want louder, you could turn up the speakers. I'm not trying to put down your work mate. You're making people very happy and that's great. just some constructive critique. Don't take it the wrong way. If I am wrong, then I guess someone will put me in my place.

But I see you made an update. So no harm done.

i werent having a go at you just that i think the defaults were way too quiet. i dont think it is really louder than a GTR, they have no silencing at all in them things anyway yea what you say is fair enough but i prefer a nice and loud engine other people might not like it so i am sorry but i am just doing it to what sounds good to me. i am totally open to any suggestions of improvements though cheers !

today i decided to finaly play with the engine sound "editor" and i really liked the result of a sound for fzr. basicly the engine sound its the same but with a very nice grunty exhaust. i hope u like it and enjoy it though i cant say its finished yet, i still think its a bit too noisy...u cant even hear the horn in the car...or out

just out of interest, did anyone else try to change the small one-bang wav-files? I once made it contain 2 bangs instead of one, sounds nice, it seems to interfere different

I know how similar the FOX is to a Formula Renault so I did an engine sound for the FOX that is very similar to the Formula Renault. I was watching youtube videos of formula renaults and trying to match the sound to the FOX in lfs. I think I got it pretty close Don't know how many of you will use it. Most of the requests are for xrt and tintops but i thought i would upload it anyway
