Quote from UncleBenny :Fresh off her first win, Danica hits another team's crew chief on pit road.

That's why you don't let a woman drive a race car. Sounds like the guy is going to be OK though.

Quote from NotAnIllusion :So a male driver has never, ever hit someone else's crew member in the pitlane?

that's michaela schumacher's shot at a pitworker, her first one, i can remember http://www.myvideo.de/watch/76 ... Boxenstop_mit_Unfall_hehe Seems to be that there are only girls hitting the boxcrews.

[/sarcasm]

michaela is a German girl name equivalent to Michael for boys

Never.

Danica was prolly checking her make-up with the mirrors at the time and didn't notice the poor fellow who tried to avoid the collision but it was just unavoidable. A woman's place is not between a seat and steering wheel, it is between the stowe and fridgerator. And later in the latter
Hmmm no video of the actual accident? I'd like to see it...
Quote from Hyperactive :Never.

Wat?.....

Quote from thisnameistaken :

And there was Kazuki Nakajima last year. That was a classic.

I'm also thinking you're forgetting a few other incidents Hyperactive:

Blake Fess (idiot but ARCA drivers dont know how to brake so  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... TFoNY&feature=related (It's the second video)

Michael Andretti: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh6ndqIIKD8

Dario Franchitti: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... M9t4o&feature=related

Last but not least Michael Schumacher: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... rNL5U&feature=related

There's millions of other similar incidents as well ranging from ARCA (LOL LEARN TO BRAKE), NASCAR, Indy, ALMS, Rolex Sports Car, F1, F3, and WTCC.

Sarcasm? I'd like to think so... Your grasp of motorsport history (and indeed general history) is a great deal less than firm otherwise.

Also very true
My own misunderstanding
A pretty damn good series, too.
Quote from DeadWolfBones :A pretty damn good series, too.

If I'm not watching NASCAR or ARCA i'm always watching Rolex (ALMS comes pretty close)

Quote from thisnameistaken :That's a racing series? Sounds like an unsolicited email.

Ya, i think it's American's premier sports car series. it's part of Grand Am I believe? (I know it's a step up from Koni).

It's a shame that much ppl watch Rolex. I love watching NASCAR drivers compete in Rolex and vise versa.
is rolex the one with those... things that make you want to hurl just from looking at them?
The Rolex series is a multi-class sports car series much like ALMS and they are sponsored by the Rolex watch company

The prototypes for the Rolex is the Daytona Prototypes and their sports car class is similar to ALMS (Porche, Viper, Mustang, etc).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolex_Sports_Car_Series
Rolex Series needs to die so ALMS can take over few of their tracks.
The cars aren't really like ALMS - they are more like British GT (GT3 type cars) with their own prototype that's about GT2 speed.

It's called GrandAm if you don't want to use the sponsored name. Shall I start calling the BTCC HiQ ?
