Look out - he might be a hydra and spawn two more accounts now.
This thread was doomed, but interesting to read (the first bit anyways)

@ shotglass comment, regarding Germans being entitled to answer: Shotglass only can express his intentions but it seems to me that this kind of oversenstive topics always bring the darkest side of posters and attract biased, cheap interventions.

Being from Germany and commenting Israel will likely get one to be reminded of the nation's history during this heated posting exchange.
If I were from Germany I would probably use the same caution, and I think that some who are not from Germany could try it for a change.
Quote from SamH :Well, bugger me.. well spotted DWB.

lizardfolk has received an infraction for deliberately disrupting the forum by use of multiple accounts.

I had a feeling from back when voidone first showed up in the NYT thread.

Hilarious that he was using a quote from his alter-ego in his sig. :P
Even funnier that that quote was never posted publicly in the forum and that in other threads he basically replied to himself and asked himself questions. Not to mention the bit about buying two licenses...
He must really hate America to embarrass himself and his country like this.
Quote from SamH :One account per user is enough on this forum. Use your voidone account, thanks.

Sam both me, voidone, and theawesomebrit know each other personally. We go to the same school and post in the same computer lab (notice how all three of our IPs keep shifting?).

I know you may not believe me, but it's true.

Think about it. If I were desperate to the point that I had to "get people to back me up", would I spend another $50 just to get an S2 account? Normally, someone would just get 2 demo accounts and that would suffice

But didn't theawesomebrit say he's lives in England...well he lied, he was from England but he really lives here.

Quote from xaotik :Even funnier that that quote was never posted publicly in the forum and that in other threads he basically replied to himself and asked himself questions. Not to mention the bit about buying two licenses...

Of course...I'm the one who brought these two threads to their attention and they posted in regards to that. They have posted else where, but most of the threads they dont really care

Quote from lizardfolk :I know you may not believe me, but it's true.

Nope, I do believe you The information I had was that you shared the same IP as the other two, and the other two also shared the same browser on the same computer. The inevitable conclusion is that all three are the same person. Add school into the mix, and this can become confused.

The best suggestion is.. don't post on the LFS forum from computers at school.. it confuses moderators
Ermmm...Not sure if that rings true..

Hawaii is 10 hrs behind GMT, so if we look at the times of the various posts of these three guys, then this school seems to be open from 6.30 am till 10pm.

I'm open for correction, but, something here doesn't add up
Ah, the plot thickens!

Santayana wrote that those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. You find that inscription when you enter the concentration camp in Auschwitz.

For me it doesn't count who you are or where you come from, assuming nationality is part of one's identity. What you remember, and how you apply it to yourself and others, is much more important.
Quote from Mazz4200 :this school seems to be open from 6.30 am till 10pm.

Maybe they're all just really, really keen students?
So now he's a schizophrenic reptile-botherer?
I think he's a carefully constructed decoy developed by you Europeans to tarnish the US's sterling image here on lfsforum.

I do have an answer for that. We are a Catholic school who loves to be religious. Therefore we have school retreats in which we sleep over. (Computer access are allowed and we use a shared computer lab)

Also, me, voidone and brit also frequent an internet cafe called "Da Planet" I know that sounds fake but here's their site: http://da-planet.com/ We usually go there to race in LFS for fun (and voidone still doesn't know how to handle a formula LOL) and surf the web (post in forums) and I think void works there

Guys...please...900 posts and I have been reasonable in most of them. I may argue but if you prove me wrong I will admit fault (as I did with the NY Times thread). Does this sound like the kind of guy who would just make new accounts just to troll others? No...wait...spend 50 DOLLARS on another account JUST FOR TROLLING? I dont know what you think about me, but I dont have that kind of money just laying around.

However, this time I dont blame the community for reaching this conclusion. It does seem suspicious and I would have reached the same conclusion if I were in your position. But it's honestly the truth. Next time I'll just post in my own computer instead of at school or at an internet cafe. However, I can't guarantee my peers would do the same (just as long as their IPs dont match mine then u'll know I'm not using their accounts for trolling)
Quote from lizardfolk : No...wait...spend 50 DOLLARS on another account JUST FOR TROLLING?

Although far from being important since you already lost all my respect for your questionable tactics before your lovable friends joined in the fray, there are some people who have two licenses here and they don't do it for trolling.

Bringing in your friends wasn't a smart idea, but I've got used to not so smart ideas.

I maintain this post of yours was some sort of 'revenge posting' (similar to that of Racer X, but deceiving) to demonstrate something. Unfortunately you hid too many information and now you have no credibility whatsoever to my eyes.

Edit: to be clear, I don't know if your friends are imaginary or not, but I can keep that curiosity for myself since it doesn't matter anymore to me.
Quote from thisnameistaken :So now he's a schizophrenic reptile-botherer?

Kev, that was uncalled for. I know you are taking immaturity to a whole new level, and trying to drag this forum down with you, but please, once in a while, try to get your facts straight.

Lizardfolk does NOT 'bother' reptiles...

...they actually consent! Hope you didn't take me seriously Kev; As if...
Lizard, I don't know that you're intentionally deceptive (I'm not psychic after all) but, even giving you the benefit of the doubt, I do think you could work a bit harder to make yourself understood. All this confusion & bollocking over your recent posts could have easily been avoided if you'd expressed yourself clearly from the start. Then the discussions in these threads could have been about the various issues you raised and not all about you and your conduct on the forum
Quote from DeadWolfBones :it was pretty clearly a mistake to create the Israeli state there in the first place.

the US did not make Israel, imperialist Britain did. I would rather support a country that allies itself with america rather than one that vows to kill me. call me sensitive if you will

Ahem.

Regarding UN Resolution 181 aka the Partition Plan for Palestine:

Quote from wikipedia.org :On 29 November 1947, the United Nations General Assembly voted 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions, in favour of the Partition Plan, while making some adjustments to the boundaries between the two states proposed by it.

The division was to take effect on the date of British withdrawal from the Mandate Territory of Palestine. Both the United States and Soviet Union supported the resolution.

The 33 countries (58%) that voted in favour of the partition were: Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Byelorussian SSR, Canada, Costa Rica, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Haiti, Iceland, Liberia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Sweden, South Africa, Ukrainian SSR, United States of America, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Uruguay, Venezuela.

The 13 countries (23%) that voted against resolution were: Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, Greece, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Yemen.

The 10 countries (17%) that abstained were: Argentina, Chile, Republic of China, Colombia, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Honduras, Mexico, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Yugoslavia.

Quote :The United Kingdom refused to implement the plan, arguing it was unacceptable to both sides. It also refused to share the administration of Palestine with the UN Palestine Commission during the transitional period. It terminated the British mandate of Palestine on May 15, 1948. Declassified documents indicate that the British had wanted to absorb Palestine into a "Greater Syria" that would eventually be ruled by Iraq. Historian Efraim Karsh and others assert that Britain Transjordan planned to annex the Arab state and all or part of the Jewish state to TransJordan, while others claim that the Jews cooperated in a plan to annex the West Bank, intended for the Palestinian state, to TransJordan. In January of 1948, the British allowed the Arab Liberation Army formed by the Arab League to infiltrate into Palestine from Syria.

I mean, there's no doubt that the root of the creation of Israel as a sovereign state in some part lies with the UK, but the US was heavily involved as well.
Britain's imperial mandate (occupation?) over Palestine created the conditions which led to the UN Resolution which partitioned Palestine in 1947. Prior to that, Jewish independence groups like the militant Irgun (led by Menachem Begin, future Israeli PM) & British forces had clashed repeatedly, so it wasn't like Britain and pro-Israel groups were friendly. Tensions came to a head in 1946 when Irgun members, disguised as Arabs, bombed the King David Hotel ,which was being used as a British HQ, killing over 90 people, mostly civilians. This bombing was a key factor in Britain's decision to give up its presence in Palestine. Palestine was divided in 1947 and Israeli independence was declared in 1948, supported by the US and USSR and opposed by Egypt, Syria, Jordan and others. To say Britain "created" Israel is somewhat simplistic, given those facts. The US certainly didn't create Israel all by itself but was an immediate supporter and since 1948 has been its most fervent and unwavering ally, giving to Israel almost a third of its entire international aid budget, arming it with everything from tanks & attack helicopters to nuclear weapons & vetoing any & all UN resolutions that (among other things) demand Israel follow the rule of law with regard to territorial expansion in Palestine.

The King David bombing also shows that, historically & even presently, hardline pro-Israel groups have never been averse to "collateral damage" (i.e. the deaths of innocents) in their quest for independence. Until the 80s, that was the deadliest terrorist attack on record anywhere in the world.

Questionable tactics? To be clear I did not "ask" my friends to back me up. They were angry at me for not playing an MMORPG with them and I showed them what really made me busy this whole time. I showed them the LFS forum and the two arguments that I was engaged in. To be clear they are not my "goons" and rarely do anything I tell them to do (hence why void made an jerk of himself when I asked specifically for him not to do that)

I've really done nothing but just post. I haven't really insulted (or trolled) a particular individual and I've admit that I was wrong in many situations. Which is more than I can say for a lot of people. But if you insist on keeping a negative mindset on the current situation then that's your problem.

To be honest, whether or not I gain your respect is immaterial. If you're consistently judging someone's behavior and bring past bias into new discussions then it really wouldn't matter would it?

As I've stated many times before this new thread is something independent of the last thread. If you refuse to believe that and maintain a paranoid mentality of "me trying to get everyone through "deceptive" means" Then there's really no point in addressing each other would it?

Also, my point about the 50 dollars was not that it's stupid for someone to have two accounts (i know that some may do). But that it's pointless, and a waste of money to buy another account for trolling (for obvious reasons)

Fair enough
It's a cookie of your own dough: your lack of transparency has made me wary and this is a good reason not to trust you. That's all I can say about it.
Lizardfolk, it's only natural for people to think you have a forked tongue since controversy has followed you since you've hatched into this forum. The sum of your posting tactics can be easily interpreted as venomous attacks and then quick attempts to slither out of a created situation so perhaps it's just time to acknowledge this and shed your skin with an acceptance of how it appears to others. Do this and soon you'll be basking in the sun of mutual respect and people will not be so quick to dub you as a cold-blooded disruptor.
