Quote from bladegt :ah ok...thanks for the info..
something else...i have logitech g25 ...
i configured the steering at 900degrees and ingame(for now bmw m3 challenge at 37 degrees ) i cant drift because i cant control the gas pedal very good...
i dont like it's sensitivity... can i configure it ?
it starts accelerating when i press it about at 20% ...the difference then from 50% to 100% its very big...

Change the degrees to 720 or as close as you can get (mines 725). Thats the actual turn radius of most of the cars in the game. cept the single seaters which are 540 i believe.
ok with the wheel..i still don't get any sound..
(i'm not registered yet im just demo user..does this makes any problem? maybe the demo does not have car sounds?..)
The sounds do work in the demo. Do you get any errors pop up when you start LFS, about sound not being initialised? What version of LFS are you using? Are you using Vista? The only reason I ask is that older versions were incompatible with Vista and the sound system needed to be modified to get it working.
Quote from agm_ultimatex :Wow wish i found that list a while ago lol.

Nevertheless, the G25 (or the DFP, for that matter) set to 720° in both profiler and LfS and wheel turn compensation at 1 will always make 1° turning the wheel on your desk 1° turning the wheel ingame, regardless the car... The only thing missing is the FFB stop when you reach maximum lock (which you shouldn't get to anyway)...
If you could add your own car LFS wouldnt be as good tbh everybody could have an advantage.. you might think LFS has rubbish graphic's but acutaly when you play it for a while you'll get used to it and it will seem like some pro graphics :P
lol toxic10..... :P
i like lfs more for the handling/the realism of the car..and the forcefeedback is awesome!!!
anyway ..im using vista ultimate and LFS S2
NO keygen/crack installed ..
now whats the trick to make the sound work..
There is no trick. But if you're using an older version then sound won't work on Vista. This was due to the changes in Vista. I believe that the sound issue was fixed in 0.5W, so if you're using an older version than this, sound will not work because LFS was incompatible at that time.
but i hear the music playing...my version is 0.5Q
You use vista damn im so old fashioned im still on XP but its pwnage i guess :P
oooooooooh yeeeeeeessss!!!! just payed (just....3 months ago..) 1700 euro for Pc tower... another 280 Euro for TFT (6 months ago) and now 270 Euro for the wheell..i want vista..and i want my pc to make a blow-off sound cause its fast and I DEMAND it to be fast!!!!!for 1st time in my life i bought something expensive :P so vista and i demand everything to run perfect..

(dont tell anyone.... i have 12301230123.0120321030123.120301230 probvlems but ..i cant go back now to XP :P )

download lfs s2 0.5Y
thats the best version, and u CANT add either cars or tracks
thats why he doesnt want it
ok the sound everything works ko...i'll try to make better the steering..anyway i still can't get where to find mods ...real cars and tracks...
LFS doesn't support car/track mods.
yes but it supports skins..right? and car tuning (adding horsepower etc.)
facepalm

Skins, yes.

Tuning or adding engine parts, modding/adding bodykits or parts, real tracks, making real tracks, altering the existing tracks in a major way......NO!

Press shift + N in game and also if this doesn't work go to Start > All Programmes > accessories > entertainment and then Volume control and make sure it is all on, hope this helps.

so you mean that the videos i see in youtube from LFS drifting and theyare real cars..they are just skins and sounds..no engine tuning ..only the setup ofthe car (tires suspension ....)
There's an unofficial addon that can change several things like that.
