i want to know if it is possible to change the normal car park / autocross 'skin' for the ground (the car park spaces) on the track to a different image. This would greatly help to design my kart tracks, as i could just screenshot the track from google earth and then use this as the ground on the autocross, and race on that.

When the banners around tracks in the /lfs/data/pic folder were made jpeg then i can make my own banners and use them, if the same happens with the floors/grounds then it should be possible

it is if you get LYTE.
its a layout program and you can set jpegs as the background.

im pretty sure you can't see the jpeg whilst racing tho, isnt it just to use as a guide for placing cones? even so, its probably closest to what you're looking for.
