You'll have no problem with it, it turns 240 degrees. I had one before, it was fine
I'm really sorry that you bought a wheel that can't be used for LFS
Toki, won't a wheel that turns 240 degrees only be marginally better than a wheel that turns 180? It's still not going to solve his problem. He needs a wheel that can match the degrees of rotation of the in-game car's wheel.
I managed to understand what you want, thanks to Technique.
So if you want your wheel to turn the same degrees as ingame, for example 900 or 720 degrees, then you need a G25 or Porsche wheel.
U have a problem that isn't really a problem and is imposibble to fix. The momo won't fix it, just make it less noticible.. Like a lot of ppl have said, the ingame steering wheel has a set number of degrees of rotation...it won't change...
If you are driving a car with 720º and ur wheel has 180º the car wheel will turn 4º for every 1º u turn your wheel. That's just how it is....
If you spend the money on a momo, your car wheel will turn 2.666º for every 1º u turn ur wheel.
There is nothing wrong with your wheel, and it IS set up correctly.
The only way to fix ur problem is to buy a G25 with 720º of rotation... But with the momo and your wheel the game has to compensate for the lost rotation...
Ive got my G25 set to 240 Deg's, i bought it for the pedals not the 900 deg's, i think the main problem with the wheel you boaught is that it is combined axis for the pedals, any logitech (momo,dfp,g25) will solve this problem (not that you have got that far yet )
Sorry about my English, im english
Your engish is fine, practice by having a 10 forum page argument with tristan Say wheels are round or something
it´s not the wheel, but your controller settings in lfs. the "wheel turn compensation" on your screenshot is set to 1. that´s the second slider from the top, in your language called "Ohjauksen lineaarisuus".
if you set it to 0, the wheel ingame will turn with a constant speed while you do the same to your wheel. so, if you can turn max 90° into one direction and the ingame wheel can turn max 360 (=4x90), then the ingame wheel will always turn 4x your wheels turn.
if you leave wheel turn compensation at 1, then it does just what you said: the closer you are to the center, the slower the ingame wheel turns.
RAM, just remember that while a wheel that can turn over 720 degrees is more realistic, it's not necessarily easier to drive. For instance, it will be much harder to catch a spin... drive a rallyx track, etc.
