HI, this is my first skin and id like to know how i did? ways to make it look better?

Not bad. I would download as many interesting fonts as you can think of, though. The standard set that comes with MS are pretty plain, you can even use the Live For Speed fonts (called Add Speedy).

Sometimes those are the most remembered. I keep my skins simple, everyone knows it is me, though just this month I changed from using white to blue gradient, to yellow to orange.

as for me, i stick to making skins of real cars.
camaro iroc,
mustang foxbody,
mercedes cl something or other
audi TT

i find that its pretty easy, but people tend to remember them
