was reading a thread earlier where someone commented that the standard setups in the demo were rather offputting to newbies and possibly causing them to give up on game before they really discover it and that maybe the next patch should change them to something more representative of what the game is capable of. For what its worth i tend to agree though obviously you couldnt install wr setups as that would be counter productive and even more undrivable for newbies.

the point of this thread though is

what are the best times achieved with the standard demo setups?

havent a clue what i could do as i changed before i even started noticing and with the turbo i dont think i even managed a hot lap !

Just keep practicing and don't give up, you'll improve soon and drive impossible times (started myself with low 2:00 on the old blackwood and thought that it was fast... illepall).
