G. Love & Special Sauce (Eponymous debut)

Right...

This album was barely noticed outside the USA when it was released, and it wasn't particularly big at home either. Shame, because it's a really sweet crossover. Really rough n' ready production, just a three-piece band, all the tunes recorded in one take. If you like blues, or you like hip-hop, give these tunes a listen - they might convert you to liking the other.

I feel so bad for this record because it's great and practically nobody's heard it, so here we go...

G. Love & Special Sauce - Cold Beverage

G. Love & Special Sauce - Baby's Got Sauce
Stone Sour - Bother
Metallica - One
Quote from The Very End :Metallica - One

Awesome song! :headbang:

Just noticed your name in the birthday section, so happy birthday! Have a good'un.
Awww, thank you
Yes, it`s a nice song, and next in line is Fade To Black from same band, great one aswell!
No longer a teenager eh?

All of Metallica's songs are awesome, except for whats on their St. Anger album. They went too commercial.

Old school FTW.
Metallica ~ Welcome Home (Sanitarium)

And happy birthday.

Hell no!

OK, a little, maybe...

No!

It's difficult isn't it? Embrace your unfashionability! I remember when I first picked up a bass guitar in... 1989, and I was terrified by all the amazing disco players. I didn't think I'd ever be that good.

Later I found out that on every one of those records it was either Bernard Edwards or Louis Johnson.

Iron Maiden - These Colors Don`t Run / Rememberence day
Alpha Galates - Natio

Just saw these guys play at Lee's Palace tonight. Pretty damn good live, and they have a stunningly gorgeous bassist. I think I might go to their show in London, Ontario now, too, and pick up their EP album while I'm there. Great stuff.
Ram Jam - Black Betty
