Event 6 - FZR @ FE CLUB

lmao, from the moment I saw the combo (don't know it ahead, a script decides it atm) I knew: this will end bad.

And it did, managed to do 2 good laps with a 37:99 as pb (wr 35:55, pole in race was 36:6x ?). Start went bad, spun in T1, crashed in lap 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 even 12, oh and then also in lap 15. Meanwhile already done 3 stops to fix the damage until I suddenly got timed out. Which is pretty weird, I saw no lag connections present in the server, good server and my own connection is one of best in my country (thx to my dads company ).

Anyway, conclusion: FE Club is a fun track, but the FZR is a beast which I just can not control, at least not at this time with my low wheel racing skills (just using wheel since 2 days ago). It will take time to get better and learn new cars.

Sorry Mauni and Colt, I invited you guys to this event and then I leave... Hope you guys drove better !

Anyways, it was fun after all, though my blackwood set wasn't exactly made for this track. Spinned in T1/T2 with lots of cars around. Some good hotlapping competition with Fellan few times. Surprisingly didn't get hit by tire even once, nor flipping the car either. 94 laps

Out of 6 times, we have had 4 times LX6 (LRF) and FZT twice. Maybe some cars are more random than others

EDIT: after watching the replay I just have to say that I'm disappointed to see how some people did cut the last corners... Yeah, it is the track but still

im afraid there was more timeouts tonight. i know for certain jens did time out, and i seriously doubt pecker left willingly. The only thing i can think of is the lousy weather in the south of Sweden atm. Other than that, i don't know what to tell you

Either way, 'twas fun! Horrendous combo obviously, but still fun ... ish Tried to take it easy through the first few corners but got tangled up somehow, only to damage my car even more later on. Hence the early pit stop (<lap5?). I was down to 14th, approximately 2 laps behind pecker, fellan and ha.

Had a fight with my teamie sp3 for a number of laps which was cool, but hard since we were being lapped by the cars fighting for the podium. Finished 2nd since fellan mounted some extra tyres to his car and pecker timed out.

But race.. what a mess it was! But hey, it was a bit fun anyway!

Sorry to every lapped guy I hit, and I'm also sorry FEL for spreading the tyres all over the place when you were behind. I tried not to hit them, but I think I came a little bit to fast into that corner

Race was... easy. Had secure 2nd place after the nub alien and spend the rest of my race trying to keep up, failing badly . Was pretty lonesome race after I let him pass () in the beginning. Around 45 mins or so got discoed. Well, just racing. Talked with Fred about adult movies while the rest kep racing the last 15 mins or so.

Looking forward for the next one

Horrible, i've got zero consistency in the XFR, randomness. First laps were incredibly slow for no reason. When i found some speed my car was thrown off the track into a wall because i looked at a piece of curb. Got some zero-steer in the layouted chicane and couldn't stop, so my car got thrown off the track into a wall again. Other events include another roll and a drive-through penalty. :trophy:
