I see many comments about racers running over other's pit crews. Is Nascar the only racing series that the pit crew is not on pitlane until their car is stopped? NR2003 have really cool pitcrew I think. They run out around the car, your car gets lifted up in the air, which is really cool because Nascar changes one side at a time. So, the right side gets lifted up, and you see it sitting in your car, then you see the crew run around the other side and that side gets lifted up. You even see the guys in your mirror fueling, but they aren't that realistic looking. You just see them standing there. Also, you see the guy in front bend down to wipe off any debris off the grill.

But still... where do they come from...?
I mean you still can drive through the garages...

That would add some atmosphere to the game...

Like I said, I only know of Nascar doing this. Don't know about other series. In Nascar, there is a pitwall between the crew and the pitroad. Garages for Nascar is well inside the infield.
