Hi!
Probably a silly question but anyway: I've recently introduced my 11 y.o. son to the world of sim racing, and as he seems to be okay with the wheel and pedals, I've decided to play LFS against him (and AIs) on my home LAN.
So I have the game installed and registered on my two laptops.
The account bound to the license is the same on both.
Since I've failed to locate an option to start a dedicated server (as I understand, it got removed in some past version of the game), I start a private global (?) server, add a bunch of AIs then go to the other laptop and try to join the game by its name, and it says to me that the user is already online (I've changed the name of the driver here so it supposedly refers to the account owner).
All-in-all, it looks like I cannot do what I'm after without buying another license.
This appears to be sort-of logical as it appears there's no "dedicated LAN" networking mode (where I'm assumed to own everything which ever joins the host
).
So, the question is: do I undestand correctly that I need to buy another proper license to play what I though to be a LAN party?
