Race statistics / RTFR .mpr folder / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)

We're slowly returning for 2nd time the most popular mod cars and this tuesday it was time for the return of the rather simple car, which pretty much could be people's car. The 180HP front wheels driven sedan with slicks and minor downforce assistance gathered up 25 drivers, which is 12 less than in 1st try,3 drivers did not take the spot on the grid, but from 22 starters just 1 decided to retire.

When looking from certain point, this race went into history as the race noone wanted to win - top3 drivers all were coasting over finish line in badly made "formation flight",destroying all the intrigue for win, even the race was pretty much decided. For the 3rd race in row Gábor put his name on top of finish results, scoring his 47th RTFR race win and starting his 4th winning streak with 3 or more race wins, additionally adding 85th top5 finish to his stats. In terms of single laptime, the fastest driver of the day was Lagooga, who during race almost repeated his track record he set in qualifying - the pole position he scored was his 20th,breaking the tie for 4th most, while the fastest lap of the race was his 9th and top5 finish - his 23rd. If both leaders split the lead laps in half between themselves, the closest follower Twincam was right behind them all the race long, but never really passed them, settling himself for 3rd place finish, which is a repeat of his best race result in the series and 8th top5 finish. At least the battle for 4th place finish was proper until the finish line - Michal was able to hold off the charging oponent and finish 4th for 2nd race in row to score his 16th top5 finish and 4th in last 8 races. Unite lost a position between start and finish and despite all tries could not regain it,so the finn settled for 5th place finish, which is his 99th - just 1 to go to become 2nd driver with 100.

Next tuesday we will race in same track as we did on tuesday week ago - the 10.7 kilometers long custom configuration in Kyoto, however the car will be significantly faster than RandomCar's PL200 class,as the coming race will feature the Prototype 2 for the 2nd time in RTFR XL - 2nd mod car that has been selected for RTFR XL repeatedly (first was the V8 supercar version of LFS own FXR). In 2 weeks normal RTFR will return with one of the street legal cars, more info about that in the weekend before the race.
