As usual,to avoid many questions,Race Green Events' statement about bumpdrafting:
"With closed wheels cars it is not forbidden, but in case of any reported incidents it will be treated as intentional contact,so everyone has to make sure that he knows what he is doing!"

Foch (lfsw: Foch98) - receives a DISQUALIFICATION from race results and 3 months ban from RGE organized events for multiple incidents, low driving standards and lack of track/surroundings awareness. Despite the odd combo, the race turned out to be quite a spectacle - it included everything between pack racing, mishaps and incidents, drama and last lap chase to clock the 15th closest finish in all 357 races. With 30 drivers this was the biggest grid out of 4 races started in Rockingham's oval and early on top of the field were running rather patiently in a 7 car train, however later there were plenty of splits and reunions for various reasons.
The very first RTFR race in Rockingham's oval went into history for the closest finish in RTFR history and first ever (and until now also the only) race win of a Scottish driver. If the first entry in record books was not really endangered, the 2nd one received an addition - Adam started the race from 5th position and spent most of the race in lead pack, led 7 laps from last 10 to escape from chasers and cross the finish line first for the 1st time in his 39 races long history in the event. The previous best race result for him was 3rd position and it was the 8th top5 finish. MousemanLV repeated his best qualifying effort (3rd) and also spent the race in leading pack, during last lap he was one of the chasers, but run out the distance to pass for lead,so he had to settle for 2nd place finish which is still 2 positions higher than his previous best result, adding 3rd top5 finish to his stats. The bumpdrafting during qualifying worked well for Unite as he set the fastest lap in session to score his 11th pole position, however he never led a single lap and also last lap dash ended with a mistake in last turn, which demoted him to 3rd place in finish - that's his 95th top5 finish. Trespasser is a rare visitor in RTFR - it was just his 3rd event, but once again he qualified 2nd, led his first 37 laps, but was not in contention for race win in deciding phase of race, finishing in top5 for 2nd time. R.Kardol closed the top5 to score his 104th top5 finish and to delete almost 1/3 of his gap to standings leader. One more driver is left to mention - the owner of fastest lap of the race. Suforr scored his very first of those for himself and also for Spain when being part of the leading fast pack - interestingly all 5 fastest laptimes of the race were set in the 14th lap.

One more race ahead this week from RGE - the 6th annual long distance race set in Westhill's support roads, this year it's a 300 kilometers race, a distance that can be completed in just over 3 hours. If you're fancy for a challenge or just want to take part in different kind of race, feel free to visit Race Green 300km of Westhill 2025 info thread to find out more and sign up of the event. Next week RandomCar will take over the RTFR server with a race in Westhill, but in 2 weeks RTFR will return with a tricky combo, which will spice things up when season closes in it's ending.
The best oval racing experience I've had on LFS. This car made for some close racing, even some proper side by side for some laps which is rare for oval on LFS.
