This vehicle is recreation of real life car owned by @s30bmx




Base model is an Audi R8 by sketchfab user mrDiG
All additional modeling is done by me
All textures that are not from LFS are done by myself in Photoshop

Stuff I've modeled from scratch:
Front bumper, front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, spoiler, gas cap, climate control, handbrake caliper, rims

Stuff from original model that was edited:
Hood, mirrors, steering wheel, instrument cluster

What's left that i want to do:
Interior overhaul, steering animation, skin template, more texturing
Some more stuff might come across my mind as I work on it
Also might re-do some stuff I already modeled, that I'm not satisfied with

Little update on the interior

For door panel I used a picture from real life as a rough guide, parts that don't match because of perspective were eyeballed to look right and connect nicely with the rest of the model
Depth of the door panel and whole rear section is also eyeballed while looking at the reference pictures from google
Dashboard will probably be a bit easier since I can follow the shape of the dash that came with the model
Part of the driver's door flows into dashboard, so I'll be moving onto that before completely finishing the rest
More details and panel gaps will be added after the rough shape is done

Dash has been modeled, time to add details




*Don't mind the weird lighting, it looks normal in LFS

Interior is mostly finished, just need to add tris for stitching and interior lighting, maybe a few tweaks here and there





New seats are also modeled and fully finished in editor
Both seats and stitching are made separately colorable


*Again, looks weird in blender, for some reason some individual vertacies randomly flip and that causes this weird lighting

Made a new wing and front lip for gen2 bumper
