GTR at the very origins of LFS (Blackwood GP track) is meanwhile pretty much a classic race, however this tuesday we added some spice to this classic - the run GTR was based on a car that has been wished to have GTR version, but never had - the LFS's own RB chassis. This is now possible thanks to user created content and the RB GTR seems to have a very similar pace compared to the XRR - the 242nd RTFR was run on same track with it and the same 28 laps distance was completed just 0.23 seconds earlier than this week's race, back then won by J.Katila - his pole position earning time was 0.01s slower though, while 2nd place's time in qualifying was identical, set by polesitter of this week's race. Even if 25 drivers tried their skills during qualifying, only 20 of them were standing on grid waiting for green light - such dropoff is starting to become a trend latelly in RTFR,but only one driver did not got classified in results and that due network problems of another driver.

2 weeks ago Gábor started already his 4th winning streak,so the intrigue was if he can keep it alive to make 3 in row for the first time. His teammate tried hard to make competition in qualifying, eventually giving up and leaving the server without returning for race - Gábor had just one opponent running in range of sight for the whole race, but still the hungarian led all 28 laps to score his 1st 3-wins-in-row streak in RTFR. With this he joined 5 other drivers, who were able to win 3 or more races in row in RTFR history. Gábor now reached a quarter century count of wins, while he also added 18th pole position,20th fastest lap of the race to his stats and reached half century in his top5 count. It was also the 31st race win for Hungary, tying Lithuania for 2nd most. Ironically a lithuanian was the closest rival for the winner - Mantas qualified 3rd,started from front row and finished in 2nd place, which is his 9th top5 finish. With 20 seconds gap to winner Arska took the best of the rest honors by finishing 3rd,scoring his 22nd top5 finish, closelly followed by B2R duo of Ayoub Maroc in 4th place, who scored his 11th top5 finish, and the only winless top5 finisher of the day - Twincam, who scored his 3rd top5 finish in RTFR. That made one of the rare cases of 5 different nations represented in the top5.

VOD at Youtube:

RTFR XL is next in list of future races - the 81st RTFR XL will be a rerun of 41st RTFR XL more than 3 years ago, using FO8 in the Aston North reversed configuration, full info will be posted tomorrow. The info about next RTFR in two weeks was not mentioned in broadcast this time, however it should not be a problem as many of regular LFS racers might have fair number of laps in it.
