Blast from the past!
So live for speed has been around for a grand old 20 years! I was intrigued and decided to see if my old website was up.....from 2003 or 2004 I think.......you know what? It is still up!! Madness and I hadn't checked it for the last 15 years or so haha. Some photos of early patches in the photos section (and some slightly nsfw phoros of my room back then. Don't worry it's posters not me with my willy out)

So enjoy a bit of nostalgia on me.
I forgot I used to go into the textures and make everything dark to simulate night and it took forever to do haha.

Again happy birthday live for speed and thank you to the Devs and everyone who has helped along the way!

Ha! My website about "cops'n'robbers" is also up and running Smile but that one is only from 2005 or so. http://don.vn.cz/cnr/

EDIT: Oh, look, here's one from 2003 Smile
Don! Miss ya. That font reminds me of your bike videos Smile x

Although I ultimately took down the dSRC forums (mainly for security purposes really as I wasn't keeping Xenforo updated).. https://ds-autos.digiserv.net/ is still up and about since early 2005 IIRC.

That said, I rebuilt it recently just for shits n giggles, so now dockerised, built and deployed via a CI/CD pipeline... though I kept the original design despite using modern tech stack (was harder to do that than it would have been to redesign in a modern design!)

And the Neuropol font on Don's site was "legendary" back in the day! Big grin

Cheers..

Ian

Well for some pepole from Poland site lfs-driver.pl was very known and used. Old owner of that site messed up in 2019 selling our site to data hoarder wich put ads on site and bots to gain some revenue.
That's why i saw at 2019-2020 olny bots offering windows, washmashines etc. but as for now i can tell it was one of best communitys wich i know and remember. I was there an moderator with admin rights, i know last moments of that site full of bots and advertisments about windows and another weird stuff.

RIP "Lfs-driver.pl" *2012- +2020

I remember flying round rallycross with you way back when, back when my moniker was Lampshade if that helps ring any bells!

Speaking of sites that have stood the test of time, Stuart's skin website is still up, with some old classics still available: https://www.bean0.com/
