The online racing simulator
I am wet, can't wait to try it out!!!
I like the Gallardo : as crap/good to drive as I was expecting Big grin . Quite bad feeling under braking and corner entry, but then the awd system is helping you to put the pedal to the floor on corner exit. Same feeling as for the R8 and GTR, this make me enjoy even more the 458 when I take it just after Big grin
I took briefly the Lotus 25 ... but GP Legends memories make me to not appreciate it so much ... do not know what I was expecting, but I did not find it to my taste ...
Brands Hatch is very nice at first sight. Quite narrow and not so easy to find the correct lines with lots of elevation changes. Smile I will have to learn !!

You should try the Ford Escort at Brands Hatch GP.

This combo is just a blast to drive. Throw the car into most of the corners, hold your wheel straight, dictate the direction with the gas pedal and open the tap with a bit of opposite lock on corner exit.
I gave it a try. I thought I could drift it like a pro, but it has ended often into the grass Big grin , probably overestimating myself Big grin . But I think it can be quite nice with some practice. Thumbs up
the track is epic, also the new escort 1600 rs is super fun to drive
They've nailed Brands Hatch. It really is good.
The AC's garage is slowly becoming Gran Turismo-like (just 100 less skylines). Seems like there could be some fun leagues, but is multiplayer still split into so many fragments, as there is cars? Also is the MP better/worth anything at all?

As a car enthusiast I still think GT does something better than anyone else: the ownership of the cars.

Other than that, AC is number 1 at the moment.

With what? Empty servers? Because I don't see much activity there at the moment.

* maybe they use a new server lobby thing because I can't see that any new content is being used and the serverlist is pretty short.
Maybe use the filters at the server list.
well, I'm not online much, but there are more and most of all a bigger variance of servers at any time now. The racecraft is worse than what I was used to back in LFS' glorious days tho
Quote from Töki (HUN) :Maybe use the filters at the server list.

I don't need that, I didnt start AC for over a year anymore.. I've build my own serverview... But no, it's just really dead there. Hatch is actually being used at some passworded servers but they are empty and passworded. In a way you where right, I forgot to include passworded servers but it didn't really help.
Nope, your server list is broken it seems, I see a lot more servers when I go online with the AC launcher.

edit: 66 non empty servers without booking and password for me, while on your list it shows only 22 with the same filters.
No no its correct... I separated pickup and booking. Here are the ones in booking mode which are .. At the moment about 40+ But eehhh ... Passworded and booking mode is the way to go there now? Strange. Seems bit elite to me and I wonder how many of those connection numbers are actually actively racing.
TBH AC have more race servers that lfs have in the past 3 years
I am positive your server list doesn't show all the servers. I'm filtering so I don't see servers with booking/empty/passworded on the AC Launcher and I see way more. I use exactly the same filters on your list.
So you have an example servername troy? I don't want to download Gigabytes just for a serverlist. I think it's correct by the way, the linking didn't go well to booked mode I discovered. This now works correctly.
Right! No the url is after all those years still the same. I use an IP though but aclobby1.grecian.net goes to the same server... Anyway, the importing of data failed because I updated PHP two weeks ago but forgot to change the server import script for AC so this was a list of two weeks ago. Now all good... Alright nice.

So there is actually activity going on with this Hatch. Hhmm OK. Content works after all, apparently Razz
What is going on? Kunos and Scavier have sometimes gone without big releases for years. And now we have S3 and Dream Pack 3 within daysBig grin

Enjoying Brands more than I thought I would. The Lotus 72 was a nice surprise too.

Liking the car selection so far. It's a nice change to have a quality sim with a proper high-end road car and historics line-up.

New reflections in both sims the same week.

S3? Well happened there?
Wow the trofeo lambo is a positive surprise. Best car in the dp3. Not my style of car at all but so satisfying to drive. Challenging but in the right way. The way it has those little understeer and oversteer moments really adds character and it has so much depth. And unlike most cars in ac it also punishes for driver mistakes. 9.5 out of 10. Need to use medium tires though. On softs it is iracing spinfest.

Was really looking forward to the escort but it is such easymore car that it is boring.
