For multiquote: select more posts (top right corner of each post) and from the bottom right menu next to the quick reply box, select "Quote selected"
Just wondering since it has been up for a while now, if the forum update has affected traffic either way?

Quote from Victor :It's a shame people now start to think i don't care. I've always cared, but since LFS's income got so low due to inactivity I had to find another full time job which is keeping me extremely busy these days, leaving very little time left for LFS. And I also want to spent some of my free time as actual free time every now and then, otherwise what's the point of life? Also, if there are more important things that need fixing, then I'll look at those first.
But items that are posted in the bugs section will be looked at, when I have time.

Sorry if I sounded a little harsh, wasn't my intention. What I found weird is that nobody of the usually helping people posted in my bug thread, Flame and you do so well your job that I got too used to get inmediate help and solutions

Up your game to the tone of a single malt.

I have not understood a single word in that sentence. Could you please rephrase it?
The Patch Test forum is still visible if you go to its URL, despite being hidden. https://www.lfs.net/forum/66

It appears that admin sections/beta sections (if they exist which I assume they do) are not visible. However you can tell there's something there because it throws out a different 404 response (comes up with a blank rather than just redirecting to the main forum)

Nothing that really matters but just something to know.
The patch test forum is hidden but visible if you know the url - it's intentional. For archival purposes and to prevent sudden 404's.
Administrative forums now behave like non-existent forums for those who cannot visit them.
Minor thing, but I'd like to see a return of a different colour (red) for developers names.

I'd also like to see a return of the counter on https://www.lfs.net/ that shows how many players are online, how come this was done away with?

Sorry if these things where asked about already.
Now you can turn off e-mail notifications for new PMs in Settings
My mailbox is very thankful for that!
Why does every links in thread lists are now underlined ? That's really ugly ! Vic, please fix this !
It was actually my idea, I thought they would be identified more easily e.g. on the main page, because what's underlined is most probably a link. Now they stand out more.

However, it's true that it's not as clean now on some of the forum pages, for example.

So I don't know. Should we go for better readability or usability?

This underlining is horrible 0/5

Absolutely.
Remove them, please, it destroy all the clean look of the new website.
I'll reconsider it with Victor, it probably wasn't a good choice to put it on the forums.
The underlining on forum views isn't nice and nor is it needed. Underlining links in posts is fine though.
Promising...
Oh dear lord, the underlining is not good.
There is no option to search for posts made by username on threads. For example if I wanted to find my own posts in this thread I could just search for them on the old forum (search from thread in the thread tools) but now there is no way other than to manually search. I sometimes use that to search my own username in a thread just to see what I've written earlier so I don't write the same thing twice...

And to others, the underlining is now removed from the links on the forum & thread listing pages
i still dont understand what advantage the new forum has over the old one. this forum feels like its a work in progress and feels like several things missing. old one was definitely better.

main site is better than the old, but;

-change the look of news headlines and racing activity

-no need to write the server names with their colors in racing activity section, they can be blue just like user ids. will give more clean feel.

-please remove this photo https://www.lfs.net/static/pics/fp_cars.png

-move the news headlines little bit to the bottom and put free game download and buy additional content buttons over the top, a bit wider.

just my 2 cents.

why?
SETH, you seem to complain about certain things, but never mention a reason why..if you do though, it's more or less subjective that reflects your personal needs / preferences.. :/

Why?

If you need to ask then you aren't ready to know.

No lol seriously. Just look at that image. It's horrible.
