Brief Description of Incident: Cars 69 and 52 make contact which results in a large wreck

Car 69 was found to not give sufficient room to Car 52 on his inside. For this, Car 69 is given a Drive-Through Penalty for not leaving sufficient racing room. Car 52 (and the rest of the field) are reminded that this is a 24 hour race and over-aggressiveness is not needed on starts or restarts.

Furthermore, Cars 73, 88 and 55 were found to make no attempt to slow down for the wreck and are all awarded Drive-Through Penalties for going full throttle into a yellow flag zone.

How could I (73) have seen that there was a yellow flag, 1st i had the mesage Green Flag overwriting the yellow and after that i had my laptime overwriting yellow. For a split second i had a yellow flag. No time to respond to that.

How can i appeal to it. Or consider this as one.

If you need a yellow flag to see this incident you may need to think twice about considering continuing your simracing career

Car 71 onto the apron avoiding car 69

Race Time 2:23:15
Lap 82 from Car 55's perspective
Turn 2
Cars 77 and 55
Cars 77 and 55 make contact at Turn 2

Car 77 is exiting the pitlane when Car 55 is entering the second corner, Car 55 makes contact with 77. Car 77 is on the edge of the track and cannot move left. We have not really set a precedent for this so we had to discuss it, and our result is:

Once a car leaves the zone created by the blend line, it is a normal car on circuit and falls under an overtake, albeit a blue flag-type overtake due to pace. Therefore it will be regarded as the overtaking car's duty to avoid contact. The car exiting pitlane is protected by the blend zone, and that protection should apply until a little bit after the formal blend zone.

Car 55 - Warning - Causing avoidable contact with Car 77

Racing incident, no further penalty. The incident was caused by an unfortunate sequence of events propogated by a tyre going flat. We extend sincere thanks to Car 73 for taking time to discuss the issue with us.
