Best bands I've seen:

Fishbone, No Doubt (they really were excellent live in their breakthrough year), Cypress Hill, Primus, Squirrel Nut Zippers

Worst band I've seen:

Kenickie

Never would've guessed Lauren Laverne would end up being so foxy either.
Yeah I saw them in Leeds once, they had a touring member on keys who was the foxy one, I never looked twice at Lauren. These days I'd crawl over broken glass.
I saw The Who in Manchester on sunday night, it was amazing!
Susanne Sundfor is ****ing incredible live. Best singer I've ever heard live (Hoxton 2013). Can't beat a bit of Rage Against the Machine live too (Wembley 2001 and Finsbury 2010).
Alabama 3 - If you ever get the chance, see them live.
Historical note, they did 'Woke up this Morning', the theme from the Sopranos, which is actually about a woman killing her abusive partner.

A few reviews,
"The best live band in the country"
The Guardian,
"This is the first band I could ever dance to in the daytime hours without chemical assistance...and that says a lot"
Irvine Welsh - Author of Trainspotting and Filth
“A monumental waste of time”
NME
Quote from Hahmo :Muse has the best live acts undoubtly..

Been to 2 of their shows. Had floor tickets, ended up basically front row both times. Absolutely excellent.

Nine Inch Nails in St. Louis will definately be my fav. I hope it's like this dodging guitars, drums, band members and all.

Tool

I could not agree more. Despite the brilliance of the whole band and esp. MJK, they don't belong on a big stage. I can imagine this is be heated up in a club with <1000 people or in a theater or something. Live acustics amp'd up to mass audience isn't really what the songs can take.

Also unbelievably bad At The Drive-In, though being brilliant in studio, just disappointing live, sounds like a high-school punk band with a small garage amp.

Certainly a few bands below right up there, Rammstein definately, just always something new - mezmerizing shows and just goose bumps with every song, also sounding just great live.

Rolling Stones - Esp. Mick Jagger with movement, action and enthusiasm, not reached by many 20 year olds in their prime.

Only Band equal in ecstasy has probably been Queen w/ Mercury showboating at 100%.

Primus!

Limp Bizkit - probably splits the opinions, i think they sound fantastic live, also just a massive crowd magnet.

Die Ärzte - Classic, also in germany a massive crowd magnet, just sounding very nice live and in terms of sound just fantastic.
