Quote from ACCAkut :best car in real live? used 1.9 TDI Passat probably..

The first car I ever drove was a 1.9 TDI Passat 5-speed. Amazingly good car. Window regulators sucked but the rest was great.
W20 MR-2's

You can get by most idiots with lying and saying it's an old ferrari until they see the huge T on the steering wheel and strip the front emblem. That and add the right exhaust and it sounds exactly like one

I don't recall Ferrari ever making a turbo I4.

I don't recall the average human being knowing the displacement of a Ferrari.
True, most don't even know what it means when it says V8 on the back of a car.

Engine configuration != displacement

While Ferrari did make some I4's in the 50's exclusively for racing, they're more commonly associated with 6, 8, and 12 cylinder engines which sound significantly different from an I4, even to a layperson.

Sadly when people hear V8, they think of a loud obnoxious rhinoceros rumble versus a sweet symphony of angry honeybees.
Exactly, in America 'V8' means your car sounds like a thunderstorm. Most people don't know anything beyond that.
