10 Year LFS Anniversary Tournament by -TRR-
Hey Everyone,

On Thursday the 16th of August, Live for Speed celebrates it's 10th year anniversary. To celebrate this we will organize a fun tournament, existing out of multiple things.

The things that are on the list are the following:

2 Normal races
2 Banger races
2 Stunt layout races
1 Destruction Derby race as final


Rules are as following
"Normal races": general racing rules apply + no overtaking when there is a local yellow flag
"Normal races points":
1st = 15 pts
2nd = 12 pts
3rd = 10 pts
4th = 8 pts
5th = 6 pts
6th = 4 pts
7th = 2 pts
8th = 1 pts



"Banger races": ramming is allowed, includes spinning one into a side object. Full throttle ramming someone into a side object is forbidden, and called a lossy.
"Banger races points":
1st = 16 pts
2nd = 13 pts
3rd = 11 pts
4th = 7 pts
5th = 3 pts
6th = 1 pts
Rolling someone = 10 pts
Ramming someone OOB = 10 pts
Roofbender = 8 pts
Follow-in = 5 pts for all cars involved



"Stunt layout races": Ramming is not allowed, pushing is. Yellow flag rule does not apply. Don't be to rough.
"Stunt layout races points":
1st = 15 pts
2nd = 12 pts
3rd = 10 pts
4th = 8 pts
5th = 6 pts
6th = 4 pts
7th = 2 pts
8th = 1 pts
Jump over another car = 5 pts
Land on top of another car = 5 pts
180 degrees or more turn on the ramps = 3 pts


"Destruction Derby final": All kinds of ramming is allowed! Try to finish, and then think about what position!
"DD final points":
1st = 30 pts
2nd = 25 pts
3rd = 20 pts
4th = 15 pts
5th = 10 pts
6th = 5 pts
Roll another car = 10 pts
Roofbender = 8 pts
Ram another car OOB = 8 pts
Follow-in = 5 pts for all cars involved

15:00 GMT+2 - Race FBM @ FE3 for 10 laps
16:00 GMT+2 - Race XFR @ SO4r for 10 laps
17:00 GMT+2 - Free roam on open track, see it as sort of cruise
18:15 GMT+2 - Banger TBO @ AU1 for 20 laps
19:00 GMT+2 - Banger STD @ BL3 for 20 laps
20:00 GMT+2 - Stunt race XRT @ FE1x for 5 laps
20:30 GMT+2 - Stunt race XFG @ BL1 for 5 laps
21:15 GMT+2 - DD final UF1 @ AU1 for 13 laps

You're allowed to, don't worry.

Basically, everyone is allowed to attend to all, parts or maybe just 1 of the things.

History of LFS

Sometime in 1999: Working on Lionhead's Black & White, Scawen starts to write a small stunt simulator with mouse steering in his free time
