Uh...... Isn't there a thing he could download that plays on the setups? I forgot what it's called, but something to do with doing something like putting a V8 into a gt turbo and changing it's overall characteristics to duplicate whatever? Is that still around? It doesn't really give you a different car looks wise, but it radically changes the characteristics of the original cars. I don't think it worked all that great in multi-player, but I think it allowed you to make up all kinds of cars.

I think that the name you are looking for is "LFS Tweak".

While it may have been locked too soon, it's better than arguing with legality of what he can do with the cars. He can also search the forum and find LFS Tweak / MultiMod files.
