Close to our 10th Anniversary!
Well well... Time flies by it seems! Looking back 10 years ago I would've never thought to ever have such a great gaming team under my lead.

It all started back in August 2002 when *ROCK* Clan was formed on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Here we where very popular under the young Dutch community, we had a succesful team server, and many wars.

At 16th of December 2002, we came to Live for Speed, and started with a tiny demo team for years... With members such as Nabz, Pikaflex, Kimberly, Tomas and Edvis.

In 2006 came the turning point, we recruited Nicholas "Camaro" Wrage and Thomas "Tommy" Vermeire to the team.

We experienced a bit of S2 online thanks to friends, and just at July 2007 the team fully moved to S2! Here we soon found other members such as Lieuwe "Overhit" Sijtsma and Willem "Fazer" Sijtsma.

We where more a team for pick-up racing, we didn't do any serious league racing.

At the end of 2007 Christel "LORD/Chasey" van Essen joined in after knowing Walter for quite some while. She soon was promoted to co-leader of the by then called Team Rock.

In 2008 we changed our minds from being a fun team, to a more serious racing team. We renamed ourselves to Team Rock Racing. Christel made us a nice first website and this attracted more members.

We had a struggle from 2008 till mid 2009 when we organised our first championship for our members. There where just a few races beginning in September till December. The last race was the decider. Walter "Rocky7up" Lemmens won only 1 race, whilst Christel won more.

But sadly in the final corner of the track Christel wrecked and lost quite some positions. In the end Walter claimed the first championship by a lead of just 2 points.

In 2010 we had our first full championship, only -TRR- members where allowed to attend. It was a fight between mainly Michal "Niuch44" Sikorski, Walter and Christel. Further into the season it was clear Walter would win his second title. Michal would finish second with 6 wins, Christel would be third with 4 wins.

In December there was a small meeting in Budel, the Netherlands. Here some members received awards, other awards where send via post. During 2010 we had our first few sponsors such as Fanatec, Spire Europe, Monster Energy Drink & SPAM Energy Drink.

During 2011 we organised a bigger championship, in some races also outsiders may join in. We found some new sponsors such as CM Storm, Cooler Master, Bridgestone & HDFilmCamera.nl

Walter took the lead early in the season, and really increased it by nearly 100 points in front of the second. But thanks to calm driving through the following races, the gap got reduced to only 18 points in the end. Christel finished second.

The 2012 season is now underway and it's very exciting. Let's see who will be crowned champion, now that it is an open series...

Since the launch of our first Joomla powered website back in 2010 we've had 100 different members in the team!

From those a lot have left at the ending of 2011 when we where going through a struggle.

Luckily new ones have come, and our current member counter shows 24!

We've been on LFS since 16th of December 2002, so it's almost time to celebrate our 10th anniversaty!

We would like to thank the following people:

Walter Lemmens - for starting this team back in 2002, and giving most of his life time since then for it.

Christel van Essen - for kicking the team out of the dust, into the right direction, creating our websites and skins, and just being a good friend.

Ton Arends - for being a very supportive member in and outside the game.

Nicholas Wrage - for being a great member and friend from 2006 to 2011.

Thomas Vermeire - for being a good member and friend from 2006 to 2009.

Willem Sijtsma - for being a great friend and member since 2006.

Anton-Willem Ahlers - for being our rising star from 2008 to 2010, when he magically disapeared and never came back.

Rik Kardol - for being a good friend and our rising star from 2010 to 2011.

Robin Lowik - even though he caused some trouble, he was and is a truth friend of the team.

Dave Taylor - for being a great friend and support to both the team and it's leader.

Tommy Østgaard - for kicking the team alive, helping us achieve succes and making us more popular.

Niki Dakovic - for helping the team achieve succes and being a good friend.

So that's a little summary of 10 years of Team Rock Racing, we hoped you enjoyed reading, up to the 15!
Nice. I see you lost some of your finns. Wouldn't be too worried, you guys are doing fine .
nice to feel hated
hmmm... Why ?
Then I also have to feel hated
nice writeup man.
Team Rock Racing has 2 new members.

One we recruited a while ago already, but has since shortly been accepted as full member. This member is Sebastian "Intrex1020" Wojtkowiak. He has already achieved a 4th place in the Bridgestone GP of Japan. And is now heading forward and will be driving with us in the GT2 World Series.

The other member that joined is the one, where in a few posts above we noted as Magically disapeared... Well he is back, since previous weeks Wednesday he was playing Live for Speed again, and out of pure luck on Thursday night, he joined the Autocross Kart Cup server and Walter and him met again. They added each other on Skype and had a great laughter. Even before Walter could ask, Anton "DutchieJR" Ahlers asked if he could rejoin Team Rock Racing. Walter was very pleased with this question, and was delighted to let him in. He now a days uses the nickname Krinfall.

In other news...

After 5 rounds running Niki Đaković took home the championship in the Autocross Kart Cup 2012 organised by Team 6th Gear Racing.

In the final round there was a strange absence of all 6th members, and basically all other competitors, as the organisator didn't send any info to the attendees. This caused absence of nearly all attendees. Luckily there where 6 Team Rock Racing members, Niki, Anton Ahlers, Walter, Jani Bruce, Jesse Bruce and Bozhidar Velinov.

The qualifying was very exciting with just a tiny gap between Niki and Anton. As the race went on Walter flew into 3rd position in the first corner. Jesse retired on lap 1 as he didn't have good setup. Jonathon Provost was the only non -TRR- driver, and he was in a great fight with Walter.

Later on in the 30 lap race, Bozhidar Velinov started making mistakes. And Jani mixed himself into the fight with Jonathon and Walter. Not much later, Walter and Jonathon collide, and Jani goes through to 3rd.

Then in the final few laps, Niki and Anton are still fighting for the lead, and they come behind a group of backmarkers, one of the backmarkers spins and Anton slightly taps Niki around, and Anton takes the lead thanks to this.

Bozhidar gets stuck not much later, and Walter helps him to get loose. And 1 lap later Niki is stuck, and also Walter helps him loose. Walter had been making spins over the last couple of laps so he didn't mind to do this for his teammates.

In the end Anton Ahlers took home victory, Niki Đaković in second took the title, and Jani Bruce finished 3rd.
Jonathon Provost joins Team Rock Racing
After lots of conversations with both parties, Jonathon Provost decided to give someone else control of Ident-Racing, to join Team Rock Racing.

We know Jonathon as a very friendly person, with who you can laugh when needed. Also he is a quite reliable driver, when it comes to finishing. In 2011 Jonathon even won a league race in the -TRR- Championship beating people as Walter Lemmens and Ramon Blauwhoff.

Jonathon is assigned to a few tasks, he will be writing news updates for our website www.TeamRockRacing.com he will be assisting with events and leagues. Further he is just a normal member.

We from Team Rock Racing give a warm welcome to our newest member.
