Hi, I downloaded the Pit Spotter, hoping it would be like Nascar style radio warnings, eg. "clear left, car right..." But I cant get it to work. What is this InSim stuff? and what port do I put it on? I left it on default and nothing happens. Does it only work on the oval track or any track? thanx.

It should work on any track, any time, anywhere. Pretty much you start PitSpotter and by default it should start up LFS, with the correct arguments. If I remember correctly, and from there it should just work.

If, however, you've setup a game server and set a password, you'll need to go into the Multiplayer > Start New Game and clear the password from there before it will work correctly. Alternatively set the same password in pit spotter's config file.

what about enabling outgage or insim or whatever it uses?

It's "/insim 29999"

If you don't want to run server with Pitspotter on :

1. Make you sure you don't have admin password set in Multiplayer/Start a new game.
2. Run pitspotter
3. Run LFS and write "/insim 29999"

If you want to make a server with Pitspotter on :

1. Recall or have a look what your admin password was.
2. Open /spotter/config.txt with a text editor
3. Find line adminpass= , write your admin password after =
4. Run pitspotter
5. Run LFS and write "/insim 29999"
