[SOLVED] LFS Bug Causing OOS MPSYS Errors
Dear Scawen,

I found a bug in the LFS Dedicated server.

It kicks people connecting with a OOS -MPSYS error after you've joined the grid.

How to reproduce:

Setup a server with the following:
S2
Wind to 1 or 2
Weather type to 3

Join the server, enter the track.

Let another tester join.

Result: OOS - MPSYS error

Kind Regards,
Walter

Surely a lot of servers are using/have been using those settings on and off for years without any trouble? Isn't this error something to do with the autocross layout? Was a layout used when the other driver joined in and got the MPSYS error?

This has been reported a few times here: http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=36117

Also:

when the last person leaves the server and

once someone joined, but obviously only once.

So far I've only encountered this bug with layouts having objects outside the track boundaries, on the Skidpad on AU1 for example.

There was no layout on the server, and no insim.

It was with XRR at AS7.

I wanted weathertype 3 for a bit darkness, and wind 2 for hard wind.

But once I found out everyone being booted with that error, I decided to change it to weathertype 2.

I can confirm it happened before on Z and Z28.

Let me try and find if I saved the replay.

Edit:
Can't find a replay.
There is no weather type 3 on Aston.

Ok, so that is then probably the problem lol.

Thanks.
